I am in awe of this man’s knowledge of the Bible. He even notices underlying themes and patterns that I’ve never heard anyone else mention. I’m still hung up on why God wanted the blood of innocent animals when He made them, and if we can love our pets, no doubt God, who made the animals, loves them too. I’m learning the Bible backwards. As a child, I was told how to believe by a religion that cherry picks Bible verses and twists them. It bothered me enough that I grew into a very angry atheist. Just before I turned 34, I met Christ. He gave me a dream that showed me a love I cannot put into words. I woke up a different person! I made sure to be baptized while I was still the same age He was when He was crucified. Now, I’m on a mission to understand the Bible the proper way. Even when a scripture upsets me, I just focus on that love He showed me, and I trust Him to help me understand 🙏🏻

Pets are not humans, nor made in Gods image, neither innocent or guilty, just animals. It’s people who worship them, or try to make them human.
I recently discovered these at 40 years old, in America. I just realized I’ve spent an average of 2.5hrs hours with EACH 45 minute lecture on the Law of Moses…They say time flies when you’re doing something you love. The internet is a hell mouth, but in some dark corners, you can find the holiest of light. Praise God, for His grace of the Holy Spirit, who could show off what He made in David Pawson. Remarkable teacher.

It is certainly an immense responsibility, but Mr Pawson has done an excellent job here. No one else has made such a comprehensive series of videos about the whole Bible like this, which means Mr Pawson's videos are the best by default. These videos may not have "all the answers" but they will certainly provide many people with a good basic introduction to the Bible and be inspired to read it for themselves, which most Christians don't. Above all else, Mr Pawson is clearly a spiritual man, led by the Spirit. We ought to trust that God knows what He is doing when HE commissions projects like these.

This, as with all other teachings from David Pawson that I have listened to, is an excellent presentation - thoroughly researched and articulately presented. However, one point in this particular teaching requires further thought, namely, the reason for which God rejected Cain's offering. An independent consideration of Genesis 4, and of the Scriptures as a whole, reveals that God accepted Abel’s offering because Abel, out of his deep reverence for God, carefully chose what he brought to Him, and God rejected Cain’s because he did not bother to choose the best - he casually picked a portion of his harvest and presented it to God: “… Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord”; “Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof” (Gen.4:4). This reminds me of how several thousands of years later God rebuked Israel for offering Him animals that were deformed (Malachi (Malachi 1:12-14). The doctrine that God accepted Abel’s offering because it was an animal sacrifice presumes that the two brothers were bringing sin offerings, contrary to the facts. In God’s instructions to the Israelites through Moses, he indicates that He accepts both animal and grain offerings, as well as olive oil and wine, as long as they are carefully chosen to express deep reverence for Him on the part of the people bringing the offerings (see various passages in Leviticus). Despite the foregoing error in David Pawson’s teaching on this point, he remains one of the most diligent, systematic and clear teachers of the Scriptures that I know. To be this, he did not need to be perfect - just available and faithful to share God’s Word. Like every other child of God, he was an earthen vessel, not the treasure (2 Corinthians 4:7). Reginald M.J. Oduor (child of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ)

Brother, Hebrews 11 tells more about Abel's offering. He did it with faith. The Bible says God did not have respect to Cain more than to his offering.So assuming that Cain's offering was sub standard is not all that correct it was just not of God's standard.

I struggle so much with the capital punishment issue in our modern context. I absolutely believe that it is what God called us to do, and that we are allowing evil to reign not putting those to death who willfully take the life of another. But the other reality is that our justice system is so horribly imperfect, and those who are racial minorities and/or poor are SO much more likely to be given the death penalty as well as be wrongly accused, than those who are of the racial majority and have money, that it seems we cannot met out the punishment fairly. It grieves me because we see such horrible sins going unpunished, and yet- I fear if we just put all the death penalties back in the western world we would see so many people wrongly put to death by the state becaause of inequalities. It's a tough one.

Cain was "Obtained from the Lord" - perhaps Eve thought Cain was promised "One". Abel, which can mean "breath or vapor," perhaps suggests that in comparison he was considered "insignificant" since the The One was already on the scene (Eve considered the second child as no big deal). Cain probably acquired a sense of entitlement growing up in this environment of his parent's favoritism, with a sense of his "destiny" and, consequently, was shocked when God rejected his offering. This challenged his ingrained identity. The murder of the easy-going, unimportant one, Abel, was an attempt to restore Cain's identity as "The One" simply by eliminating the competition. Also, note that in addition to God covering their shame with an animal skin, in that process God was rejecting the "vegetable" covering Adam and Eve made for themselves. Furthermore, the animal covering was provided by God while the vegetable covering was provided by Man.

This is not something easy to understand but we need to be careful not to blame God for sin. One day all will become clear and we may be surprised God created . God granted all beings - both Heavenly Beings and Human Beings choice - the choice to choose HIM and His ways or reject God and HIS ways ... without choice we would be robots programmed to do things Gods way and only God way, a dictatorship. As a Parent, when your children are very young you can control what your children do - but there comes a point in time when you have to let go .....and they make their own decisions and choices ........... whilst becoming independent, some choose to stay close to you for the rest of their lives or..... others leave you ....thats a choice they make. God created Adam and Even and he gave very clear guidance - what to do and what not to do .....but thorough temptation, the Evil one persuaded Eve that it would be OK, to disobey GOD ...and .......it was not OK Did GOD know this 'would' happen? He must have known what 'could' happen if Adam and Eve chose to disobey Him and that was a risk He took in giving them free will but did he know 'what' they would decide ? Some say He must have known they would choose evil because He knows all things ........ I am convinced God knows all of the possible outcomes - permutations etc of teh choices we make in life - nothing surprises him but Im not convinced God knows what you will choose until you make your choice He wants to spent eternity with everyone but not everyone will choose His ways and choose the narrow road that leads to eternal life I believe He created the the Universe and everything in it. He did this and created us as we are with the freedom to make choices because He wished to spend eternity ''with those who choose him'' .......He created us with the freedom to make a choice - to accept or reject Him The key to this is in Gen 22 when God puts Abraham to the test - Did God know Abraham would be prepared to sacrifice Isaac? Gen 22 implies God puts Abraham to the test to see what he would do . Why did God do this .....Did God not already know the answers? ..vs 12 states clearly ''Now I know that you fear GOD '' David teaches God tested Abraham to see what he would do, did God not know-all things ? This verse implies that it was not until God put Abraham to the test did God'' know that Abraham feared God''............ and had total faith in GOD that He would ''provide'' It remains a mystery. What is certain is that everyone who choose ''to believe in Jesus'' will be saved and have eternal life .....what is also certain is that not everyone will choose Jesus

I am very appreciative of the ministry of David Pawson (may he rest in peace). I have a quick question on Cain's lineage (Min 17:20-19:23). Is David referring to the bloodlines that came through the women? Clearly, NOah was from Seth's line and all his 3 sons would be regarded as coming from Seth's line and not Cain's line. Biblically where genealogy is traced via males, I would have assumed that only Seth's line survived. Would appreciate an answer from David Pawson's ministry team. Thank you.
@marktester57992 жыл бұрын
Music, metallurgy, and urbanization began before the flood; with those things, David is referring to physical ancestry. For the things after the flood (modern urbanization, modern discoveries, modern music), David is referring to a spiritual ancestry, not physical. That's why David said you choose which line you are a part of (Cain's or Seth's).

Clearly, David Pawson read the Book of Enoch and perhaps a few others, which were kept out of our '66' book Bible. There are some books that have been robbed from us that we would benefit from reading - scriptures useful for instruction.
Жыл бұрын
HI please be careful David read many many books and said "its good to read these books for historic purposes" but be cautions - they are not considered "scripture" and its strong to say we have been robbed - these books are widely available and you are free to read them There were many books written, dating back thousands of years that are not included in the Jewish nor Christian Bible because they are not considered Scripture ie "the word of God". but more the word of man - The Book of Enoch is not believed to have been written by Enoch . The oldest surviving copies are quite recent but Jesus does quote the book of Enoch. The accuracy of the oldest copies that have survived is unknown - The New Testament is a collection of works that originate from the Disciples or the Apostle Paul - The Apocrypha is included in the Catholic Bible but not in the Jewish Bible nor any other translation. Every book included in the Old Testament/Jewish Bible is considered to be what God said and quotes " God said ......" with few exceptions The Apocryphal books were written in the 400 year period between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament where "God was silent" .......so are also not considered the word of God and as such are not works of scripture

@David Pawson Español - Oficial - Thank you for the admonition. David's remarks that it was the fallen angels that taught man occult knowledge is directly from the Book of Enoch. There are other points and elaborations in this particular talk that originated with a/the books that were left out of the Bible we have today. Having been a former occultist, I am VERY careful about who and what I listen to and read. So, yes, I read these books with caution and prayer. David is one of the only well known Teachers I listen to. I do believe he does take a few liberties I am not necessarily in agreement with - yet not ones to cause one to lose their salvation, I believe.
@truewitness68407 жыл бұрын
I love most of this, but I do disagree with David Pawson's assumption that God liked a blood sacrifice better than a harvest one. (Abel's was an animal, Cain's was from the field). No, I think it was more the attitude that each had when making their sacrifice.
@elocutionsolutions80807 жыл бұрын
This is very interesting. Jesus is the Last and Final blood sacrifice. Maybe a blood sacrifice is more painful for anyone than a non-blood sacrifice. No matter how the heart felt, it is still more of a painful thing to do. There must be suffering and pain in any sacrifice. Do you agree?
@Scripture-Man6 жыл бұрын
The Bible clearly states that God preferred Abel's blood sacrifice. Why try to argue with this? We know God prefers a blood sacrifice as it became the official means of atonement. I'm not sure I'd agree with Mr Pawson that Abel knew what God wanted. He probably just got lucky, because God's favour was upon him.

How did Noah what a clean and unclean animal? That was not codified until Moses right? Abraham made a drink offer to God. .how is that possible before Moses. John MacArthur says and many other great bible teachers say, it's not just what is written but what can be inferred. Adam knew about animal sacrifices to the Lord...or how else did Cain and Abel even know how to even make a sacrifice in the first place. It's the same error that Arrons sons made when they brought strange fire to the altar and God destroyed then. Cain was trying to worship God in his own way and not the way God told Adam. That is God had no respect and told him sin is at his door, disobedience...

Hey, people! Question for you all. Just making my way through these for the first time. In previous parts, David discussed the idea that Genesis must be taken as historical fact. Jesus believed it, and so must we. However, in this part, he discussed the lines of Cain and Seth as being lines of ungodliness and godliness. He said that we must choose the line to which we would like to belong. But, if Genesis is historical fact, then surely I must be a descendant of one of them, no? Thanks for reading.
@jaytanlin3 жыл бұрын
@jared Brandt, the two lines do run even today but they are not only genetic, they are spiritual lines. We each have the ability and freewill to choose whose line we want to belong to. By salvation, we are integrated into the Seed of Abraham, children of God, Abel's line.

Another issue - For those who believe that sons of god are Angels… 1. Why Would God Judge Humanity and All Creation for Angelic Unions? 2 How Does This Impact the Saga of Salvation? Because these hybrids were also alive after the flood. If you still entertain the possibility of a hybrid race, that's entirely within your prerogative. However, consider this: can such hybrids find salvation? The Bible centers on the salvation of the human race, with no explicit plan for angelic beings. What if your friends, family, or acquaintances were part of these hybrids? Would they, despite possessing free will, be excluded from God's kingdom?
@DavidPawsonMinistry Жыл бұрын
Firstly let’s be clear that is not what David Pawson teaches and I kindly ask you not to post comments or propositions on this channel from anyone else’s ideas Jesus is coming back to judge humanity and creation because of the fall - not because of these angelic unions - who is implying they are still living today ?!?!? If you have not got this from this video please do not use this site to hypothesise ! Salvation is a personal message for us - human beings - the New Testament is clear the punishment for Satan and his angelic helpers is the eternal fire - there is no salvation for Satan nor his angelic helpers All have sinned The consequence of sin is death - that is everyone However for those who carry on believing in Jesus and - as Jesus said - perseveres to the end - shall be saved What does it mean to believe in Jesus ? - Repent and be baptised for the forgiveness of sin - obey His commandments …… and - go sin no more The Gospel message of salvation is simple and…… let God deal with and the sons of god ……it’s not our concern

Being a bit of a sinolinguist it feels sad when people butcher the language. What he says IS true, there is an uncanny connection between some chinese characters and old Bible stories, but he gets them wrong. For example, Tempter is actually the word for Devil. Mó. 魔. Wide + Forrest + evil spirit. 造 zào means create and is a combination of “tell” 告 and “walk/move” 辶。 When God speaks, things start to move. 鬼 guǐ also means devil and it could be construed as field 田 person 人 and private/secret 厶 but that wouldn’t be an official explanation. Others include garden 園 which is mud 土 a mouth (blowing maybe) 口 which results in a person 人 and from the side of that person, another person 亻all inside an enclosure 囗 Or tower 塔 being something you do with grass 艹 mixed with mud 土 when people 人 having one 一 language 口

Quoting Jesus words does not contradict what was said in Genesis 6. Presuppositions of a bigger picture off of what he said Is what gets people off track here. Jesus was very specific. Jesus contradicted absolutely nothing in the old testament. Everything he taught on was either quoted from the old or giving commentary on the old testament and he expected his listerners/readers to know exactly what he was saying outside of his parables and he left those for them to figure out for themselves, again based off the old testament. To wrap up, the Hebrew word translated sons of God is used 100pct specifically for angelic beings. There are absolutely ZERO exceptions to this and to interpret it any other way into English understanding is false teaching with flawed hermeneutics. Scripture interprets itself for you through patterns, whether it's words, types in stories, numbers, etc. God holds consistency. And he consistently refers to sons of God as beings created directly by him, not humans

I have read "theories" about Cain and his bloodline being “tainted” ("Cain produced an ungodly line of people") but is that Biblical? I am not clear on what is being said, are you saying the "bloodline" of Cain is "tainted" or rather that he was morally bent on sin and even murder. I always understood that because of the "fall" of Adam and Eve, ALL their children came under the "curse" of sin and death and so had to continually choose Good over evil throughout their lives, as we do too. God said directly to Cain "if you do what is right, you will be accepted. But if you refuse to do what is right, sin is crouching at the door..." (Genesis 4:7). Isn't it a matter of choosing to reject sin, choosing God over the evils of the world, choosing to do what is right? If not in the case of Cain, then what was it, what was the "bloodline" of Cain that "produced" ungodly people?
@DavidPawsonMinistry9 ай бұрын
Lets start with all have sinned and fallen short - and the consequence of sin is death - wither we have to pay the price or as in the case with a scape goat someone else pays the price for you - Jesus paid the price of all of our sin Cain was morally bent and his hands were stained by the death of his brother - and as a role model his dependents followed, and his blood line was tainted The sins of our forefathers has consequence through the generations - by the time we get to Genesis 6 The Lord "observed human wickedness" and was sorry he had ever created all mankind. So it's not not just Cain but all humans , God judgement was initially "to destroy all living things" Gen 6:7 .....But "one" man Noah found favour with God ...and all mankind except Noah and his family are wiped out by the flood .....Noah was a descendent of Abel but Abels bloodline except Noah were also judged and wiped out

Regarding to the explanation of Chinese characters, it was not accurate. 造, the up right corner is not motion+mud, is ox horn from 牛, which was used for sacrifice. 鬼, one major explanation of 田 is the mask person wore during sacrifice (another saying 田 is field).

Sorry, found it. "Why, then, did God put such a tree within their reach? It was his way of saying that he retained moral authority over them. They were not to decide for themselves what was right and wrong, but had to trust God to tell them. Furthermore, he was underlining the fact that they were not landlords on earth, but tenants. In some testimonies we learn that satan was outside paradise. The serpent opened his mouth and satan went into him. Literally the serpent carried him like Judas Iscariot when satan entered him. Adam was sleeping. I've uploaded the new testament gospel of Joseph if someone is interested. The law of Moses needs be fulfilled. Just as Joseph (Prince of Egypt) was betrayed, so was Joseph in the gospels. Judah and Mohammed are the same word (praise/ praised /praiseworthy) but Mohammed is Arabic while Judah is Hebrew.

Capital Punishment is wrong. Thou Shalt not Kill! Jesus said it himself. it's one of the ten commandments, abortion is murder. Capital Punishment is Murder. "Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also" A murderer should go to prison, for the rest of their life, but taking their life is no better than them, and is not "turn[ing] to them the other cheek" It's revenge, vengeance and that is not the correct way of dealing with evil. "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing." Do not repay a murderer with murder.

Where did he get that Cain was the father of art, metallurgical and polygamy but this is not in the Bible. Please help explain this ?
@DavidPawsonMinistry Жыл бұрын
David often makes statements to challenge and to direct us to read the Bible to prove him right or wrong So what does the Bible say here? What are we told in the book of Genesis ? Adam had but one wife Eve ? Let’s look at just chapter 5 where we learn Cain - built a city did he not ? So he was a builder? - builders need to work with stone and metal and wood? Cain would have to design a city would he not ? So he was a designer - artist ? Cains sons had more than one wife ? So Cain was the father of polygamy was he not Yes there is some interpretation here but I assure you if David makes a statement he can back it up with scripture

There is no scripture that says Adam was with Eve during the temptation or when she ate the apple. In fact it reads more like Eve are it all on her own and then took it to Adam. And she did know full well that God told her not to eat of it.

My Bible is clear - Adam was certainly with her when she ate the fruit firstly remember the chapters and verses were added later Gen 3:6 states “When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. We stopped treating life as sacred, and this is why we stopped killing people on behalf of the state? Cain killed his brother, but God did not put Cain to death and he marked Cain so that others wouldn't kill him. This part of your video about capital punishment is very confusing.
@Michaelkur952 жыл бұрын
Yes, that point seems controversial for me too, but the reason behind it is different. It is true that God protected Cain, but when He gave the Law to Moses, he instructed him that every murderer have to die (Lv 24,7) Now I do not know surely why God treated with Cain differently, but maybe to prevent a neverending bloodshed (Abel's relative would kill Cain, Cains relative would kill Cains murderer, a relative of cains murderer would kill the one who killed him and so on). But the biggest problem with death sentence is that in case of justice error, there is no way how to make that injustice right, except of finding the real murderer and punish him.

Hi Please check this out Genesis 4: [17] Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. [18] To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech. [19] Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah. [20] Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock. [21] His brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play the harp and flute. [22] Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron. Tubal-Cain's sister was Naamah. Many teachers says that through the Cains line we have the - building of cities, - musical instruments and - bronze and iron manufacturing.

You may indeed have half truths in the bible in different translations. However God said he would preserve his word. I personally, after having viewed many English translations, think this is exclusive to meaning the original languages. You have two sources on the old testament and they do hold surface differences. However i think they're easily reconsilable and misunderstood. The Hebrew masoretic and Greek Septuagint are the main sources. The Aramaic targum and peshitta close. The targums may very well be just as valid. There are definitely errors in English though and that goes for EVERY popular version I've seen. I would say 100pct negligible to salvation but undoubtedly hindering full understandings

@ 23:00 God didn't regret making man as suggested. To say he made a mistake. And wished he did not. The foundations where established with the intention of man's creation. Along with the Lamb (Jesus) slain from the foundation of the world. Rev.13:8 It repented the Lord that he made man on the earth Gen. 6:6 knowing he would destroy them. 6:7 It grieved his heart. Yes, God regretted but it was out of contrition otherwise it would be sorrow of mistake or wishing he had not. Apparently it was the only way. To forsake is a part of repentance so it would stand to reason that God turned away and forsook man. He knew this before proceeding. "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me." God knew this sin would require an atonement. A sacrifice. Essentially, God created or sinned by his creation or commitment, by his grief it repenteth him. He sacrificed and made an atonement of his own. By his own sacrifice. In the beginning he saw that it was good. Knowing it would be corrupted. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. I would be grieved also, knowing this to be the result of my choice however it was an obvious necessity. 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. @@DavidPawsonMinistry Correct! However it wasn't a mistake unless you are suggesting God made a mistake and that the Lamb slain from the foundation was in vain? I provided scripture context. Using a translation not KJV doesn't give you free rain to add context not there. [Genesis 6:6 KJV] {6} And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. It repented the Lord. It does not say he regretted. Even using your translation, it must be applied in context which requires searching deeper. @@landofthefree2023 I will make just one more comment and very much doubt we can agree on this topic What I can say is Davids position which I also share The meaning of words change over time When one reads the KJV it has to be read with an understanding of 1600 English meaning of words - not with the meaning words have today an most people do not have an understanding of medieval English Many words have changed meaning over time - one has to understand the meaning of the word repent when it was written in the KJV The distinction between regret and repent is made in many modern languages, but the differentiation is not present in older periods. To repent is to regret so deeply as to change the mind or course of conduct in consequence and develop new mental and spiritual habits. Also from c. 1300 in Middle English and after in an impersonal reflexive sense, especially as (it) repenteth (me, him, etc.). And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. [Genesis vi.6, KJV, 1611] Many words have changed meaning since the 1600 Naughty - in 1600 means someone with nothing - Naught ….. this word then changed meaning and became evil and immortal and today the meaning has evolved further to mean just bad behaviour Divest - in 1600 means undressing …..today it means selling off investments Silly - in 1600 means blessed or worthy, it then became weak or vulnerable, it now means foolish Peculiar - in 1600 means set apart - “Gods peculiar people “….. today means odd or strange So when you read KJV it has to be read from the perspective of the meaning of words in 1600 - not as we read words today If you understand medieval English the KJV is a great translation ……but for the ordinary man, it is very difficult to read and misleading if you read it only with a knowledge using todays definition of words So yes - the meaning of repented as defined in KJV does mean the same as regret today - grieve over one’s past David recommended the 1984 version of the NIV version as the best translation for most people to read today

Concerning the nephilim: consider this bible passage spoken by Jesus: Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. If the Angels don't marry, we can come to the following conclusions: 1) No angel families. 2) No angel children. 3) They were all created. 4) Neither male, not female. 5) No reproductive organs. 6) Nephilims not possible. The Sons of God were the descendants of Seth. The daughters of men were the descendants of Cain. Also, Adam is called the son of God, so this term doesn't necessarily mean Angel. Genesis 6:4 "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown." It doesn't say the Giants came from any particularly sexual union. It just says that there were giants on the earth in those days. It also doesn't say how big the Giants were. It could be that they were only about 2 or 3 feet taller than the average man in height. And then AFTERWARD, probably after the introduction of the Giants, the marriages between godly men and ungodly women took place. Whenever this happens, it's a natural tendency to drag the godly men down to the ungodly women's level. There are examples and warnings in the Bible concerning by this.
@uptownlife425 жыл бұрын
That verse is about the obiediant Angel's in heaven not the fallen. Sons of God is only used for a direct creation of God. We are not sons of God we are sons of Adam.. The line of Seth is what's totally inconceivable. Scripture interprets itself and the only time that phrase is used is of ANGELS ONLY. That interpreted itself before Jesus made his statements. Jesus said angels in HEAVEN. This is clue number one. Those in Genesis 6 came DOWN. Peter and Jude say they left their OIKETERION. That's the same word applied to the heavenly bodies believers get after resurrection. So when we put on our immortal clothing, it's the same thing they DISROBED themselves from. I state again Peter and Jude, they were EXTREMELY clear on this issue. Next to understand is if what they did is related to clothing, you'll understand the importance of Adam and Eve being NAKED. They did not have heavenly bodies. There's a comment about getting them out of the garden before partaking of the tree of life as well or they'd be immortal. Eden being blocked by cheribum let you know why these angels couldn't return to their full angelic states. The English word clever for the serpent is the plural form of naked in hebrew. So you know in Hebrew Satan was fallen before Adamand eve. This very truth is the act of how Christ, being pre-existent in the form of Yahweh became man and was able to go back to that status. Reference the high priestly prayer in John 17 where he prays to be restored to the glory he once had, this is to his eternality before incarnation which the fallen angels were not allowed . This is also how Paul said he emptied himself in phillipians 2. These same types of misunderstandings of scripture are how people botch understanding the tri-une nature of god. You have to look at every related scripture to understand the whole when misunderstanding arises. Even using 80pct of what's there leaves you bankrupt, much less riding one verse. Oh and by the way their heights are pretty well accounted for. Height isn't the only thing thougj. We have plenty of 7 to 8 footers in the world. They're all weak though and thin minus a select few. These weren't giants just in bone length, it would be in girth and muscle as well. Goliaths armor was almost 700 pounds. Can you imagine a normal human wearing 200-400pound clothes if you scale that down?
