Very true, they are more fit to swimming. However, Sea lions are typically much more mobile on land, better at fending off predators, and just more flexible than seals. There are some seals with enough contributes to be considered just as viable on land as sea lions; one example is an elephant seal, who's giant size and aggression gives them quite a favorable matchup against some sea lions. Not hating on you, just feeling like debating on animal stuff.@@venuasaur560

I live 100 miles inland and I saw a male sea lion and his girlfriends in the river. Their ability to swim long distances in short amounts of time is very impressive.

Those things pile up on our docks, sometimes I go down to the harbor just to see them and here them barking loudly while piled up on top of each other on the decks.

i think instead of cute animals that ended up being deadly, Sea lions are more like deadly hunters who kinda sorta vibe with humans for a bit, kinda like orcas

Like many other creatures in the area the Steller's Sea Lion is named after Georg Wilhelm Steller who served aboard a Russian naval expedition that charted parts of the Arctic Ocean and the Pacific and which was led by Vitus Bering, who the sea and strait are named after.

Sea lions are pets, any Chilean knows that, is like that all over Chilean big coastline, in university I made a Sia lion enter the classroom to suspend a test, I just called it like your average stray dog with a little bread.
