I wonder if You Guys realize how very special you both are? George, You sir are so witty, quick thinking and knowledgeable and Rachel You are such a breath of fresh air. Your two personalities are the perfect blend of two great people that know each other so well and can play off one another's foibles. Love the show (always learn something) and Love to the both of You. Thanks for all that you do for us viewers. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.

Love this episode with George and Rachel. I watch a lot of the movies mentioned. It was a great funny and heart warming podcast. One thing I will add is Rachel is right about memories. Christmas is tough for me because my parents have passed, but I am blessed to have my brothers and my sister-in-law. Cherish people and family in your life.

Thank y'all so much for telling me about cozy earth. My husband had some sweatpants he had forever that had been through the ringer. They had holes in them and refused to throw them out because he said he had not found a pair that was as comfy. I tried buying him other pairs to replace them, but nothing would add up to his old pair until I came across cozy earth sweatpants. Thank y'all again.

19:11 George, I had one of those!!! There a screen you hung, that was basically a glow-in-the-dark sheet, then you had a bright flashlight that would “charge” the glow so you could stay with it, or you could cover it parts of it with something and flash the whole thing to make negative space pictures.

14:05 It is not a good example of home ownership. It is like saying a 1950s collector Cadillac is a good example of car ownership. The house went up in value so much not just because it was real estate, but because it was the setting of a Christmas classic movie.

I think it sad that its automatically "what did the dad do for a living" vs maaybe the mom jas a good paying job or both do. Why di we assume the dad has a better job? Moms work hard and can earn a living too, dont gice dads all the crediit. Rachel works herself and would want credit too I'm sure.
@crashtestdummy197214 күн бұрын
You are complaining about millions of years of evolution or that God created men to be the head of their households which in the bible states that a man must provide for his household or he is worse than someone who is without faith, whichever you believe in. My point is that it has always been a man's role to provide for his family through physical means (food, money, shelter, etc) and a wife had the roll of caring for the home, which is equally if not more important. Its not wrong if a woman works and is the breadwinner but typically a man providing is how it's always been.

@Budgetingflamingo12 күн бұрын
@jonimurray1184 yes, it did seem like they both worked, which is why I said it's sad only dad received credit. I've seen memes online talking about it but it was both parents. IDK, I just would want credit and not for people to assume it was all my husbands hard work.
