Hi Chris. Thanks for answering my question about the 360 camera. I checked with a uk dealer and the EV3 gt line S (only) comes with this kit. However, can you tell me when your "real range test" video is coming out please?

Hi, I'm not Chris, I'm Yunki, but I'll answer your question. EV3 rental cars have just become available in Korea, so I think they might undergo testing soon. I plan to shoot the video next week.

The EV3 looks great - easy choice for most people. The harder choice is which trim to go for. Earth Trim looks good but is not available in the UK unfortunately.

Wow, this car is more spacious than I expected. I was hoping KIA would make it a bit sleeker but, I guess they are sticking with the boxy formula for the CUV/SUV lineup and the sedans will get sleeker look. I saw a story that the Stinger name has been re-registered, is there any talk there of an electric Stinger? The Chinese market has some really nice looking shooting brake/GT cars, with wheelbase (Zeekr 001 and Polestar 4 comes to mind) similar to Stinger, packaged with really good interior space. Would be cool if KIA could bring the Stinger name in a similar GT car for the electric market.

Strange how a car that looks to be about the same size as the Niro, but has so much less cargo space than the Niro. It's going from like 23 cubic feet in the Niro, to about 16 cubic feet in the EV3. How is that possible? Am I missing anything? 16 cubic feet would be a complete deal breaker for me.

Ive got the niro ev 2020 model, its 451 liters (google says thats about 16 cubic feet).

That's a valid point. At AUD60k, if the range and space aren't competitive, Tesla and BYD indeed seem like they could offer more bang for your buck.

Only the front glass is double glazed. And frankly, this is model 3 (and Y) pricing. Perceived quality is much lower. Would have been a “buy” at 10k LESS.

@@yunkiride absolutely correct. Every EV manufacturer has to deal with the elephant in the room, which is Tesla. If an EV is priced close to a Tesla, it has to offer similar quality and features. There is no point paying the same money for fewer features. Kia has been marketing the EV3 as an AFFORDABLE EV, but did not price it accordingly.

@superleggenda why is it so expensive? In Korea EV3 and model 3 gap is almost usd10k , it is $32000 and tesla is $45000. Ev6 has close price with tesla

FWD, NMC chemistry, the EV3 is a dud. Won't be priced competitively either. KIA is a lower tier brand trying to crawl upwards, to compare it to a Volvo is hilarious.

There’s no issue here. Volvo is now absorbed by Geely Automobile and uses Chinese production and batteries. In contrast, Kia's E-GMP platform and battery BMS are world-class. While Kia is known for compact cars, the shift to electric vehicles has significantly closed the gap between them.

@@yunkiride only shills wouldn’t see an issue, take the EV5 for example it was designed to compete against the Chinese mainstream EVs brands even uses BYD LFP batteries, now Kia marketing it’s lower tier compact more up market? The ev3 is on par with Geely with their galaxy evs, i would rank it below Zeekr/Volvo, as would most buyers.

Worst comment ever. Slow? How? 7.5s 0 to 60. 106 mph max, which you can't drive anywhere. 500km range on the hoghway +- or 350km highway range in -10 degrees. You're just hating on this car for nothing
