The shadows cast on the wall are the distorted representations of truth created by the puppeteers. Social norms dictate what is acceptable and expected, the government shapes policies and laws, parents and educators instill values and knowledge, the media controls information and narratives, geographical location influences perspectives, and friends and family reinforce beliefs. These illusions become ingrained in the minds of the individuals, obscuring the genuine realities that exist elsewhere. Despite the pervasive influence of the puppeteers and the illusions they create, there emerge courageous individual like yourself and very few others who start to question the authenticity of the shadows on the wall. Through critical thinking, introspection, and exposure to diverse perspectives, this individual begins to glimpse the possibility of a different reality beyond the cave. The hard part of is usually for the person who breaks free from the cave mentality and tries to explain the paradox to those who are entrenched in the cave mentality and know nothing else except for the cave and the shadows on the wall. This situation we are in reminds me of the treaty the Prophet ﷺ signed with the Quraish in which the conditions agreed upon made the Shahaba feel like they were in a clear disadvantage. However, Allah showed them that those exact conditions they didnt like were actually good for them. Today, maybe our brother and sisters are being martyred in Palestine (for us its a good thing) and starved but in shaa Allah their suffering will lead to the unification of the Ummah and the destruction of the devils who are behind the curtains. I only finished the basic state school 8 year education in a communist " evil" country, where 60 years ago history, geography the academic level was higher for the poorest than it is in the US today in public schools! I live in the West now for decades and the corruption of the rich and the oppression of the poor is so obvious that it can't be hidden anymore! I became a committed Christian as a child in communism, and kept the faith which helps me see things as they are, even if I can't express myself as eloquently, God knows and I am so grateful He raised you and people like you up to educate the oppressed poor in the West mostly where it's needed and been lacking for at least a century thanks to the latest colonizing oppressors!
