What made aventurine appeal to me back in 2.0 was how despite threatening the trailblazer, he was treated like a joke by every other character. I liked seeing him struggling, made me very interested in his plan. 2.1 really blew it out of the water, hes definitely my favorite character in star rail since launch now

@@himalkanwar77 Shaoji only had a span of 2 patches for us to reach this height, built almost from scratch. Elysium Everlasting was also a masterpiece, but it had much more time to build up. Its debatable which one is better especially since we're not done w penacony, but i say this is a new peak for him.

No no he's not dead yet (maybe in 2.2 or 2.3 to finish his "arc"?). He just use this dreamscape "death" to break the Family's barrier and enter the real Penacony, which is the prison for the exiles. Remember the doctor's word? The impossible in dreamscape is not death but dormancy. I agree though, he is the best written character so far in HSR in both lore and storytelling so far. I kinda interested on how the story goes because: 1. Real penacony is a prison but who or what is actually trapped in there that so many factions making such a big fuss over it. Even if its related to Akavili or trailblazer, the dots is still not connecting with current information we have (not looking at leaks ofc) 2. We know Xipe (current Harmony Aeon) absorb Ena (Previous Harmony Aeon) which has a loyal devout of choir singers which gone missing after their Aeon gone. Singing is one of the Robin's virtue, which why I think these events might be correlated to each other. Maybe Ena re-emergence? 3. How they explain why so there are so many "dissonance" in the Family. Will it played out like the "Spiritual Adam" (Project Stigma) like Welt mention considering HI3 references? There are so many more that I wish to confirm, but I think 2.2 will focuses more on Firefly and Sunday judging from how the story ends.

I think that our natural instinct is usually too strong to convince us to... check if we respawn; I think I'd be too paranoid of being the one time the game world glitched and actually dying (or whatever). But sure, perhaps we do speedruns instead of racing and have to death warp like the pros.😂 It's still sad in Aventurine's case though... he's not doing it to just see, he's trying to prove whether it could even happen, so he really was bargaining with his life almost in the hopes of ending it, even though we see his resolve and thoughts at the end of the quest. I have a lot of emotions man

About the implication of Firefly and Sam communicating. Think there could be a possibility that they are still technically separate people? As in, Firefly obviously pilots the robot, but perhaps the robot itself has some individuality too? Which is why Sam is considered male? One could think "Firefly pretends to be a male when suited up", but it just doesn't make that much sense, as there isn't any reason within the Honkai universe why her being a woman would be a big deal. She really has no reason to hide her gender. As Bran also pointed out, Sam speaks totally differently. I just don't buy that Firefly is acting. Either Sam is some kind of alternate personality, or Sam is the robot itself. Maybe the suit can act on its own sometimes? Idk. That's my theory for now.
