I'm so glad to see someone else that eats cold water bass. They are good as long as they are cold, warm or hot water bass are nasty.

Yippieeeeee!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉! She got a new camera!!!! I bleed the fish out, no matter what fish I catch. My Dad taught me that trick and after passing it on to my son, he showed his wife so tradition goes on. Love the recipe. Gonna try it. I use the cornbread mix and toss em in the oil. I'm still waiting for my catfish video!!!!! Get busy galpal!!! Till next time... Tight lines Dallas!!!!

When you lower the filet into the hot oil make sure not to drag your fingertips through the oil. If you happen to drag your fingers through the oil though, Patrick F. McManus highly recomends immediately going to the crotch hop technique while loudly bounding around the room. This won't reverse the effects of the blistered skin but will give an opportunity for repentance for the loud outburst later.
