In the Cheat Engine you'll need to change the value of the Item IDs (in Pointers) either to a name (from the pull-down menu) or to a "ID (dec)" that's also in the list. It low key bothers me that you can't craft the builder's bell. I hate having to make a weird makeshift one with the bell on the island.

There is a working builders bell that i recently found, it can't be destroyed once put down. So there is only one chance, it also has a blank examine prompt. Which might crash the game if examined, didn't test it though.

About the gratitude points! If you throw them out of the inventory and collect them, they count. So you can make yourself these points.

I forgot this one! You can also obtain and keep two keys from the underground temple in Khrumbul-Dun. When you fall into the floors with the hoards of skeletons (there are two) you'll find keys in one of the chests. Instead of unlocking the gate, look for an opening in the ceiling and build your way up with blocks and you'll be able to keep these two keys.

The teleportal you can get if you place it up at the temple in the spot where the gateway to Malhalla appears. The portal will pop up from the ground before you enter the dark gate and will stay in your inventory until you put it down again.

Adding the hairstyles/hats/etc to your hotbar, moving it to your bag/a chest, then back to your hotbar enables the cosmetic option at the dressing table like crafting/dying a piece of clothing. it also works for the DQB1 headgear thats normally the transfer bonus from having a DQB1 save (or playing the Jumbo Demo on PC). Similarly, you can stack the Strange Somethings and Gratitude Points in a chest and break the chest, When you pick up the hearts, they're the same as Gratitude dropped by villagers and will increase your Gratitude for that island - including on Explorer shores. The fog effect is used when you break through the ice on Moonbrooke headed to Rendarak and dissipates as soon as you enter the 'cutscene' portion revealing the landscape The non-solid dark block at 24:45 is used on the lowest layer of Malhalla to allow the player to fall through/zone out, but obscures the 'sky' that would otherwise be visible down below Similar to the fire/smoke you showed (Raid Flame), there's also a couple dark raid flames (2 different sizes) that have a purple fire/smoke effect with the deitree wind aura also to be found are dark and light versions of the corrupted deitree 'soul' effect Theres even a pot that finctions as a sign - presubably used everywhere theres a pot you can interact with and read text/prompts. one of the potentially most useful are block you can place form your inventory that actually become liquid source blocks for every liquid type - including a normally unobtainable "Filthy Water" that can even be scooped up by the upgraded pot There's also several invisible nameless blueprints used for detecting certain builds for the story progression (such as making a river on the IoA) as well as dummied out items/food/cosmetics that now do nothing but sort your inventory when you try to use them. Other blueprints offer things like a Magnet Block lift that would have been used for access to the bridge of the Ark as well as an alternate understucture of the Ark with additional thrusters and no landing gear. Thanks for making this list. Also some corrections, (i might need to edit my comment for this) you can just throw away the gratitude points from the hotbar, by using the throw away option. There is also an second unused ark blueprint. In german it is called "Zelle der Arche" I build it yesterday and saw the differences to the final Arc. It also might be unfinished, as it looks odd ontop. Also about that builder's bell you talked about in the sheet, i tried putting it down (yolo) but i was able to destroy it and it didn't do anything. Did i get the wrong one?

Spoiler-ish: I wonder if the fog is from the end of the game with the buggy? Maybe it is actually unused, but I thought I remembered a part that was in black and white and may have had stuff come into view as you got closer to it. Anyways, all of these objects are really cool, and if there is a DQB3, I can really hope to see some of these accessible to the player. Especially stuff like the weather phenomena and some of the effects like the blue flames. I know we got the weather cards, but it would be cool if we had something like a "Builder's Wand" that could let us create things like the tornado and fog by pointing to a spot, but maybe even something like a single rain cloud or fires. It also would be fun if we could use some of those tools to make our own builder puzzles and dungeons. (For example, a lot of these items would go really well with your LTTP world if you actually were able to make dungeons: lock doors, put things and keys in treasure chest, and make clear puzzles, etc.)

I'm pretty sure that fog is actually the fog towards the end of Moonbrooke. There's a bit where you break through an ice wall before spoilers, and there's a lot of fog that gets lifted to reveal something.

It might also be from when you get captured and sent to Skullkatraz, Brownbeard’s ship gets lost in a thick fog and sails straight into an enemy ship.

Don’t know if anyone’s posted this yet but. Just learned you can make ice with the powie yowie if you put the ice lolly on a block above the water it’ll turn to ice. Not sure what happened but I was making lava bricks in the same place and broke a hole in my building and replaced it with ice and as I was making the bricks with earth. The ice block disappeared and the lava poured out into my crop field... sad

The reason why I'm still stuck in DQB2 is because I tried obtaining most of the unobtainable items like Bab's statue via glitching the game (I played it unpatched so the glitches still work). Now with the PC version I can just use cheat engine to get them! (Or if mods eventually becomes a thing, modders should turn these items into working items!) Happy Holidays to you, Ben!

did you tried to use the Navi Globe to teleport to it? looks like it was meant to be a placeable teleport for the player, but removed for the onces you can use ingame

This seems like a proper video to tell about s funny thing that happened to me that resulted in an item I wasn't supposed to still have. Spoilers ahead Well I was using one of those golden keys in the underground sand temple in krumble down and just as I used it the ore distribution cutscene played just as I used the key and the door opened and i kept the key. Not a very useful glitch but still pretty neat

Yeah unfortunately it just stops after you finished the game. Endgame is to build everything you ever wanted but (almost) no more fighting...

@@BenXC i really hope for an update or a dlc that allow us to do some "invasion" in our island ... i've also 2 tips for people if you didn't know or share, at the end people can also bought items from any other island ( while they have some gratitude left ) and to avoid some link block, you just need to destroy the block with the ultimate hammer ( wich remove the link on the block ) and replace the new block ( without link ) :)

Hm, never tried goose, too expensive here in the UK (even tho it used to be what everyone had before turkeys lol) but I used to love a nice jucy roast turkey leg once in a while. Sadly I think the turkeys have developed shorter legs than they used to have...maybe they breed them that way now so they can't run so fast lol when catching time comes.

Actually, I've somehow managed to glitch & get some of the items that BenXC talks about. Not really sure what worked cos I can't do it the way that he shows on the videos. I have the flute & also it's 2 halves for instance. I had more but the last time I glitched & quit, I lost my whole save file so instead of downloading the cloud save, I just started over. Btw Ben, I got a bunch of Heartwood from fighting the Badboons on Furrowfield after building the Deitree & that zappy stuff from the Man of Wars on Moonbrooke after making the zappers. Sorry but my memory may be great for an old lady but I've always been forgetful, lol. Anyway, I've enjoyed subscribing to your channel BenXC, danke.

I believe a lot of those items are just left overs from development. They don't need to mean that there were any plans with them. It's not rare that unused stuff isn't deleted

I read every comment :) Well the "hate"-video was kinda sarcastic and a nod to the developers to keep their eyes open while making a game, because some of those things were pretty obvious ^^ that said, I'm like 1.000 hours into this game and I enjoyed about 95% of those. I have a love hate relationship with the game, certain limits here and there rooms etc limit on fish, doors, chests, and more any who if ya want to have Malroth out of your way just boot him from your party at your register. interestingly enough, PC and Switch saves are interchangable. You can pop your Switch save over to PC, hack in a bunch of items, then pop it back to Switch and go nuts
