2:13 I have a 10% rating for tinnitus and a medical diagnosis for anxiety disorder with panic attacks. I was denied secondary to tinnitus for anxiety. I then went to my local v s o and he said he never heard of anyone winning anxiety secondary to tinnitus

What is a better route to go other than the county VSO?

VSO for my first two claims. After that, I completed my others claims. It took a lot of time but I got educated on the process and the "Buzz" words and the language they were looking for. Watched a lot of videos also. It worked.

just one four year active duty deployment is the equivalent of a little over 17 years of a normal career job … do the math… 💁🏼‍♂️‼️ my VA doctor reminded me of that when I was reluctant to file a claim … after 43 years 🤦🏼‍♂️‼️

Jordan, maintaining effective relationships a serious thing in my life. However I’m hesitant to submit claim because i didn’t see any combat, or any direct serious things. I’ve deployed on a meu and i was around second hand suicide. I’ve been diagnose by the VA as well with anxiety/depression and currently on medication. Can i submit? What can i really say to the C&P examiner other than the military made me be this way.. Please provide some insight I will appreciate it

Many mental conditions exist that have nothing to do with combat, it’s a real thing to the C&P examiner, I would pay special attention to conveying that you did not have mental symptoms until that in-service stressor event(s)

C&P doctor wrote No service connection for Back Pain--Degenerative arthritis with XR & MRI- 3 med doctors Nexus statements. VA doctors statements "There is also no continuity of symptoms from service to the present over the next 30 years confirmed by the Veteran's neurologist, stating "His symptoms appear to have started in.... So what prevails? Probative values or 3 doctors? M21-1, Part V, Subpart iii, Chapter 1, Section C - Arthritis If it has been medically determined that the Veteran has service-connected (SC) degenerative arthritis, and not post-traumatic arthritis, there is no need for a medical opinion to establish SC for each affected joint. OR 38 CFR 303 (b).Chronicity and continuity. With chronic disease shown as such in service (or within the presumptive period under § 3.307) so as to permit a finding of service connection, subsequent manifestations of the same chronic disease at any later date, however remote, are service connected, unless clearly attributable to intercurrent causes.

What if you don't have a diagnosis, but you're being treated for the symptoms of ptsd?

You need to push for the diagnosis. First, review the 38 CFR rating criteria for PTSD. Secure message your psychiatrist or primary care and ask if you're officially diagnosed with PTSD (it should be listed in your Problem List). If you're not, then ask them to add the PTSD diagnostic code to your problem list if your symptoms match the rating criteria. KEEP WINNING!.

​@mrm1521 I've already filed and I have been getting treatment since 2017 for ptsd with the VA and now with the VETcenter. They're reviewing my claim now. And they requested more evidence from the VETcenter and they should be receiving that soon.
