Upgrade your ender 3 extruder for MUCH better prints

I think you have to save the settings change to make it permanent. Thanks for showing the screw less gear removal, I have the same unit and I am looking to upgrade to a dual gear extruder.

@makermaker yes. As far as I know, if you don't follow up any changes with a save to memory, it will forget the change on the next power cycle.

I print a lot of fishing gear using glow in the dark filiment, FKing drove me nuts for 1 1/2 days on two printers under extrusion. DAMN Brass gears

Not all extruder gears are tight enough to be press-fit. for those cases you can use a sharpening stone to file one side of the motor shaft until its flat enough for the little screws to grab onto.

Weird. It seems ok to me. I tried increasing the volume but youtube doesn't have the feature. I'll pay closer attention for my next video.
