I don’t think these intakes do anything but sound and I’m some cases even make performance worse

not really once your upgrading your turbo and adding fueling upgrades the car is gonna need alot more air and having a closed intake can even be less beneficial. these intakes allow alot more air flow.

He did tests on like every b58 intake and the performance results from each of u really want to know😂 it doesn’t make much hp gains if at all. And that was on his big single turbo car not this 340. Anyway I grabbed the CTS intake just to be able to hear the turbo spool..

This was done because i didnt want any limitations in airflow with the new cams. Stock intake is fine for most setups.

With the Ross Racing PCV Delete Kit were you getting a rattle on the front VTA fitting to the OEM air box near the MAF sensor? I can't seem to get mine aligned so that I don't have a rattle there.

no i didn't. i rotated the connector so it's not touching the intake or MAF.

Hey man I have MHD tune on my 440i, recently installed tu2 hpfp. Was planning on doing the flex fuel conversion, however in the stage2+ maps on MHD there is no option for the TU2 pump, only stage 1 dorch, stage 2 dorch, etc. I was wondering if I will have to get a custom tune in order to run e40 on the tu2 pump or will one of the other options suffice? Decided not to select one of the upgraded pumps and just ran the tune on the ‘stock hpfp’ option.

it's not a restriction. especially on stock turbo little to no gains are to be had.

@@Renzology it’s a set and for the stack you take the 90mm silicone hose coupler to attach to the pipe, filter looks amazingly good
