You have to make sure you're not neglecting the mobility in your eyeballs. What I like doing is switching it up between back-and-forth and up-and-down, that way you're hitting all angles of those peeper muscles. Gotta keep those peepers going strong!!

I honestly never thought about engaging the thoracic spine because I've had lumbar spine / erector spinae issues for so long and I've always focused on the lumbar, hamstring stretches, ql, abs and glutes. It was interesting to see a crunch that engaged muscles that I feel like I never engage. Definitely a very unique view on this. Thank you so much for sharing, I look forward to seeing more of your videos!

For the movement in which you bring the band behind your back over the head, a towel works just as well. Just grip each end to the appropriate width and voila!

Thanks to this video I just earlier today identified the problem why I'm struggling so damn much with the OHP with a barbell when I tried to do the wall slide. My T-spine doesn't extend properly and my shoulders and pectorals and seems like my whole upper back all in all are really tight. Couldn't even touch my forearms to the wall in the upwards position in the wall slide exercise. Thankfully, now that the problem has been identified, I can actually fix it with some variations to OHP and some off day/warm up exercises and stretches for lats, T-spine extension, delts etc. as a corrective measure. Thank you Buff Dudes for this because if I hadn't identified the problem this early on (only just started working out consistently a month back) I might have injured my shoulder/s pretty fucking badly. :D

@sweetcheex9 жыл бұрын
Just to help anyone too furthering this video. If you do the foam rolling you may hear a lot of popping, don't worry guys it's just trapped air releasing, mine crunches like hell but feels amazing if I haven't done it in a few days. Also may feel popping around shoulders just don't overdo it if it hurts take your time and start wide with extensions or as they're usually called shoulder dislocates and then progressively narrow grip. Never force your shoulders to go back otherwise the name will love up to itself and goodnight shoulders!

No these would serve as a pre-warm up slash beginning to warm up. It's essentially helping to lubricate your joints by moving them through their ranges of motion.

+Marcello Capone You should be doing stretches too, but independent of the mobility routine. A good idea would be mobility before and stretching after every single workout.
