The Dude was the guest of honor (It was his Birthday). He's actually a super nice guy, and very entertaining with his stories....like how he once dropped acid with Bob Hope out in Twenty-Nine Palms!

You know it's funny or cool or whatever for a while. Then you realize it's just a guy who can't get a girl, barely makes rent, and spends all his money on booze. When it's someone like Jeff Bridges (young) it's appealing, but when they get into their 50's, 60's, 70's and still living the same lifestyle it's just sad. My home town is full of "cool" people who do the same shit every single weekend. You end up working in a factory your entire life and never seeing the world.
