I'm fascinated by how many times you can scrunch your hair after plopping, this creates frizz for me immediately!

This is a hair type that is hard to find any care advice for (curly top layer down to almost straight bottom layer) so this is great

I’m so glad it was helpful! My bottom layer definitely doesn’t curl the way the top does. 😳

OMG I never thought of SOTC with a mousse! That is genius. My hair loves both mousse and gel but SOTC always ruins my clumps 😞
@laram.walker87484 жыл бұрын
@@confessionsofawavygirl8883 Do you mean Ali? Sometimes, when I remember, I use her roping method for clumps and I always get good results... Up until SOTC 😅 I'll try it with mousse though 😁

@@confessionsofawavygirl8883 love her channel too. Tried it with mousse and I'm loving my hair. Still going great on day 4 😊 I also started using just mousse to refresh and my hair is loving it. Thanks for the inspo x

I still use just mousse to refresh most days! It’s the best!

Lots of great info here, and I finally found someone with similar hair as mine! I am going to try mousse to SOTC. Can you tell me what gel you use at the end to tame down the frizz? Also what shampoo and conditioner are you using? Thanks so much!

Hi there! It was the Aussie Miracle Curls Refreshing Spray. It has been so long since I filmed this that I honestly can't remember what shampoo and conditioner I was using. I think I was using the Garnier Smoothing Treat 1 minute avocado mask for my conditioner back then. Shampoo might have been the Shea Moisture Curl and Shine shampoo!

Hi Lynne! I apologize for the delay in response. I posted a new video yesterday where I talk a little bit more about styling in the back!! Let me know if you have any specific questions too.

Sorry I’m a beginner and I’m a little confused I wonder did you wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner before doing all these?
@confessionsofawavygirl88834 жыл бұрын
Yes! In this video, I started right after I had washed out the conditioner. I use a CG approved shampoo and conditioner!

@@confessionsofawavygirl8883 What conditioner do you use? I'm having a hard time finding one that works with my low porosity hair.

I’m a huge fan of the Garnier Smoothing Treat 1 Minute Leave in Mask - the green lid with an avocado. It can be used as a conditioner, mask, or leave in. It is the main conditioner I have used over the past 6 months!

Haha. Thank you! I think the clock completely died. I changed the battery, and it didn't help.
