do NOT try anything you see in this video, I did so at my own risk . Harbours and outlets can have a lot of pollution an bacteria in the water, this can make you very Sick ! I forgot to say that in the video lol Please enjoy the footage but not eat anything in an unsafe place !

@@SMASHFISHING larger lobsters actually aren't breeders (I dated a lobster fisherman for two years and live in Massachusetts). The smaller females are the ones that actually produce the most eggs. The bigger the lobster female is, the older she is, and the less eggs that she produces. I cringe when I see all of the pound and a half lobsters sold in grocery stores, because those are actually the size that keeps the populations up.

I'm a meat eater and I love my meat but I think people are removed from the reality of where their food comes from and have no respect for it thus creating gluttony. People wouldn't eat as much I don't think if they visited slaughter houses or had to go catch and kill their own. Call me a pussy if ya want lol but it still makes me wince when I see something being killed. I do love food though lol. Respect what you eat like you do. Subbed.

- Good to see you’re learning your seaweed species. Dan said you were helping him out. 👍🏻 Just worth mentioning to any viewers who don’t already know, but as far as foraging goes you should avoid eating anything that’s come out from near an outfall pipes or commercial harbours. Bacteria from dead and rotting marine debris from the commercial boats, chemicals and contaminants from the vessels and anti fouling etc. Those scallops must have been discarded off the back of a fishing boat ey? Good on you for returning the big female. 👍🏻🦞
