I was just thinking, what a great drill/tap combo but there was no way I wouldn’t twist it to pieces... and then Matt goes and does it. I don’t feel so bad... 😊

Why simple really there is this thing called cash flow and bill maintenance. Then the family needs. Hang in there buddy stay focused stay positive, above all else take care of yourself. Thanks for sharing bike jig idea's with all of us. Have an Awesome weekend buddy😉🙂👍👍

Matt, might not need to move the headstock on lathe, usual trick is to adjust the tailstock end to twist the bed a fraction to true things up. And to save doing loads of test cuts you can turn a two diameters say 6" apart, separately, 1/4" wide the same size on a piece of bar with a reduced diameter section in between, then just use a dial gauge check and adjust as you go, will save a lot of messing.

Hey Urch, thank you if you reading my comment below here. Im about to build a custom bike, but custom to adding new feature to my bike. Ok i will get to the point. I want to welding the frame to convert my xr125 from pds suspension system into linkage system. The linkage require 2 hole under the swingarm and frame join to get linkage work. Im about 200lbs. Im afraid the welding cant provide that much stiff . Could you give me some advice due to advance this project? Cause the pds suspension system really not sastify me and i dont want to buy another motocross thou. Thank you!

I read today that Rob North just threw something together with a load of scrap when he made his first Triumph Tripple racing frame - it was just for a single bike - had he only known he would still be making them today 51 years later.

I made my jig like the one from Chop Source, because you can use it to strech your frame. works real well for hardtailing. Just cut the frame and set the backpost back. im sorry about your mug, that was heartbreaking.
