Dr Pal and Dr Agarwal please discuss more on Macular Degeneration. I recently lost clear vision in left eye suddenly and trying to get better
@hustlefree54864 ай бұрын
I learned that: 1. When eye is donated, the whole eye is not removed or transplated. Also 2 eyes from the same person can be used for transplate of 4 people as eye/cornea has layers. Cornea is made up of 6 layers in total. 3 top layers and 3 bottom layers. 2. Applying kajal is ok but it shouldn't be done on the internal part of the eye as it can block our precious glands. 3. Taking breaks is important. Taking break after viewing screen for 20 min and looking at a distance for 20 sec. is good. 4.going Outdoors is important since being indoor or viewing too much of screens can strain your eyes. 5. Till the age of 18 the no. Of your eyes would increase if you'd myopia that was because the way the glasses were manunfactured. It is now changing. 6.Blinking is important if you're engaged with viewing of screen for a long time. The blink rate reduces less to 5 blinks as opposed to 50 blinks when we are constantly looking at the screen. 7.Rubbing your eyes is not good and should be avoided. 8.Eye is an extension of brain as it has optic nerve and it is precious for us. We should take care of our eyes like our baby. 9.Leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds are good for eyes and overall health not just carrots. 10. Reducing screen or blue light exposure after 6 pm. And using overall blue light filters.

what I learnt 1) eye strain is big issue which leads to all sorts of issues like dry eyes which can be very dangerous 2) therefore we need to protect our eyes by following the 20 20 20 rule 3) blue light filters on eyes are not that powerful . need to buy physical filters that I can add to my devices to protect the circadian rhythm 4) live a healthy lifeystle
