I’m sorry for anyone who gets hacked in any way. My parents, ages 98 and 95, recently moved into assisted living. Dad keeps a close eye on his bank account on his computer. Last Friday someone hacked his account and took most of his money. He had to get a ride to his bank to set things straight. As part of his rent at the assisted living facility he is provided one trip a week to a doctor appointment, store, etc. He had to use up this week’s ride to get to his bank, when he really could have used that ride for another purpose. Plus, he had to drag mom along as she can’t be left alone. Dad has a broken back and can barely walk, and mom also has mobility issues. Hackers are selfish and should be ashamed.

Sad that fb is so tardy with their response. I had a similar case I presented to them twice to no avail and all I used my fb for was to keep in touch with my family activities. I closed my account and alerted fam and friends of the offenses. This is the epitome of their complacency for real issues. Pray that they will get regulated and restore those who have been violated. I hope you get this resolved. Situations like this is why it's imperative to have your OWN website. Meta doesn’t have to do anything, and because it is THEIR platform, they can and will move when they get ready. Usually facebook or any kind of social will send u a notification saying “someone tried to log into your account from this location. Do u approve?” And lastly, auntie needs to have her own website if she doesnt bc social medias are known to go down and thats what makes influencers freakout. This happened to iBerlin but he had a Patreon to keep himself afloat before his youtube was restored. In addition he branched out into other ventures. Auntie gotta start scaling her brand, protect her password and get a website
