Dribbles after pulling our pants up is just the worse.
There are multiple reasons for, what the medical field calls, post void dribble my nizzle.
Where you urinate, pull your pants up then more urine flows out. Out of the multiple causes, I'm talking about one specific cause and that involves the pelvic floor muscles and pelvic tilting.
We have pelvic floor muscles called the levator ani group and coccygeus muscles that span from your pubis bone to the tailbone, generally speaking. These muscles contract to close your urethra and anus, controlling pee and poop flow. So when your pelvic floor muscles are contracted, it stops pee and poop from coming out, when your pelvic floor muscles are more relaxed, pee and poop comes out.
A study showed that with the pelvis rolled forward in anterior pelvic tilt, participants had stronger pelvic floor muscle contractions, while with the pelvis rolled backwards in posterior pelvic tilt, pelvic floor muscle contractions were less. Therefore when we roll our pelvis backwards into posterior pelvic tilt the pelvic floor muscles are in a position that is harder for them to contract, resulting in it being more relaxed, hence allowing free’er urine and feces flow.

I’ll always remember a gym teacher telling us - “You can shake that thing until the head falls off, and the last drop will still land in your pants”. I’ve done my share of shaking over the years - luckily, I still have the original head.

Had my prostate removed back in 2005. Been plagued with post dribble ever since. Tried kegel exercises that help some. The process you just described works better. Thank you so much.

Thanks…I am 71 and my wife is 48 with just celebrated 18 years of marriage. She loves me for sure I know and she is the absolute love of my life. Back in 2009 it was discovered I had kidney cancer and lost my left kidney. About eight months later a small spot was found on my bladder and they burned it off. Went through two years of bladder treatment and get checked annually been good since. Long urination and dribble has been an issue so I sit most of the time. You may just helped me and I am going to try that. Thanks again.

It all makes sense. In my school there is a toilet which has a broken door (doesn't want to close) but the trick to use it is to lean backwards with your back on the door and with your hips forward to piss. I've been doing the trick since the beginning and it explains why I never had problems in the day unlike the night.

Thanks to this helpful video, I SUFFERED from this condition, not so much now after watching this awesome video! Where I am here in the North Eastern part of the USA, slang for Urinating is taking a piss or pee, but like anywhere, I guess it what you call it all depends on your area or region. GREAT video and thanks for the helpful tips in all the videos you upload! ❤️

I'm 52 and have PVD only when I sit to pee, which is something I started doing 20 years ago as perhaps a bad habit, but its more relaxing to sit I think. Sitting when peeing at night when I get up helps prevent me from missing the bowl.

Lately, for the past half year, I have been having the dribble, much to my alarm, and annoyance. Thought that there's something wrong with me, or because I'm getting older. Hello I have some issues. I am a 20 years old male. Like a week ago, I was having urgency to Urinate. I Urinated like 6-13 times. I went to get tests for UTIs or Kidney Stones. Tests were negative nothing was abnormal. When I urinate I feel like there's urine left in my penis so I have to strain or push to get the rest out. It takes 3 or 4 seconds for urine to start even though I have urges. Sometimes a little urine leaks in small drops. I have like discomfort in urethra and sometimes I have like twitching or fasciculations inside my urethra. This is scarying me. I don't have any other symptoms like pain or blood in my urine.

@@KoolAidDinkyTV I am susceptible to water infections and the symptoms are very similar to yours. It is very common in women but not so common in men although it does happen. Oddly I get an infection every two years for no good reason and this has been happening since I was a teenager, decades ago! One way to tell is to urinate in a small glass and then hold it up to daylight. It should be crystal clear, but even if it is slightly cloudy, then you have an infection that will require antibiotics.

@@steves1460 Hi, I think I have pelvic Foor dysfunction or something like that. Before I had frequent urination I also had constipation 2 days before my symptoms start. I thought I had an infection but if I did I would have severe pain and cloudy urine. Only time I had bladder issues was as a baby and one time when I was 6. When I was 13 I had bladder issue but it was because I drank too much soda and sugary drinks but then I took pills and more water. and that fixed my issues. I get more stomach infections like every 2 years. The urine leaking went away after 3 weeks. My symptoms improved when I did kegels but I only feel 85-90% better, not 100%.

Another method that works is to press upwards just posterior to the teste sack, although in public it can be a bit problematic depending on the clothing.

I noted that using a stall, lowering my pants and peeing helps immensely in preventing dribble. It takes a bit longer but allows me to get through the day without needing to change my pants. Something about holding it over the zipper that prevented complete urination. Maybe the angle of the dangle or perhaps the feeling of the torturous barbs stabbing my protrusion. I wear a robe at home so I can go without a hassle. I really believe the advent of dribble was the zipper invention. Remember to be neat and wipe the seat.

You CAN also [it works], try to, when you pee & get almost to the end......slowly rub it in a semi stroking motion, but NOT really, just the head or towards it, sort of like pushing lightly from UP to DOWN, down been where it releases it, A Dr. told me that....it will release the rest once or a couple of times.....then just shake it.......what some people have told me, but I have not tried, also a Dr. told me.....when you shake it, do so a few times, then maybe if needed, use a tiny paper towel....NOT toilet paper as it easily sticks & semi pad it to dry.....DONE!.

I’ve just accepted I’m old and the gasket on the faucet is too old to replace. So I buy bulk “bar cloths” that are slightly smaller than a standard wash cloth. Fold in quarters and tucked into the tinkling zone. Not only gives me a bit of insurance should the 1st act start before I’ve found my position for standing room only, but it catches any final curtain calls that may make their appearance after I’ve left the stage. I always keep a spare in a ziplock baggie that can be concealed rolled up in my hand for changing cloths. And bonus, it’s much cheaper that commercial adult mens pads as well as washable! (Just like my son’s cloth diapers when he was a baby).

Don't forget that many men get benign prostate enlargement which prevents good stream. Doxosasin and finasteride are extremely effective in many cases and allow a strong stream to return. But they do not prevent dribble. Better to feel fully voided then to walk around half empty.

Very informative and also amusing video. Does the crouching (squatting) position make it even more easier to pee? Just curious to find answer to this. May be helpful for older patients suffering from BPH.

All my life I had this problem. Even though the amount was always inconsequential, I really disliked going back to my chair and feeling that tiny feeling of release. At some point, I developed the habit of lightly pressing my perineum to release that "extra" pee. This past year, I started investing more time on fitness and lifting weights. As a classical singer, I always analyzed how the rest of my body works during singing, because I sometimes felt more "grounded" when singing and other times I felt like I could lose my breath and fail to sustain a note at any time. Long story short, everything clicked as I understood more about posture due to lifting weights. Trying to always keep a neutral lower spine, had the side-effect of almost completely fixing that pesky dribble. Not to say improved core control, better blood circulation and who knows what other indirect, long-term benefits will I get because of this. Turns out sitting all the time isn't the best, especially when, in order to keep your upper back straight, you exaggerate the lower curve of your back (for hours upon hours). Also, my butt looks good again lol (probably because my glutes are infinitely more engaged now).

Did you have anterior pelvic tilt? What exercices did you perform in order get rid of the incorrect pelvic tilt and how long did it take to fix?

Quercetin(or eating one RED delicious apple a day for a week or so) stopped the leakage a few years ago. It's worth a try. Also tightening a pelvic muscle that I can find when forcing my eyes to continually trying to look up(even if their stopped) helps find it.

I have also slowish urine flow but also anterior pelvic floor tilt and tight muscles in that region (fully checked over by urologist). It sounds like pelvic floor could be causing the slow flow. Thoughts? Possible? EDIT: Actually, moving my hips back has improved flow! Interestingly, if I rock back and forth there is a slow flow spot between the two positions. I also found that if I bend the knees and push pelvis back, the flow is amazingly good!

Many years ago, I supplemented with Quercetin(from Red apple skin) and it stopped the leakage. It doesn't work anymore strangely. I haven't had a very strong flow in years but a few years ago I woke up and had it twice in a row. From then on it's been back to the same weak flow hah. Basically after ten years it happened twice in a row and hasn't happened since. Human bodies are confusing.

The slow flow could be caused by an injury from many years ago, I have it, and although I don't remember ever having any accidents when I was younger, I was told that I could have had a bang in the groin area when I was younger, just riding a bike and catching your groin area on the crossbar is enough to damage the pipework in between the legs, my father in law went in hosptial for an operation on this a few years ago, they open the passageway up again.

Kinda cool. It does work.. when I tilt my pelvis forward, I feel relaxed and like I need to pee, and when I tilt back the feeling goes away. I’ll try this next time I pee

"Old Faithful" here, except when using a Public Restroom that has a Urinal or trough. The main reason I sit though is to keep the toilet and surrounding area cleaner. No splash and splatter! I'll give this method a try, I've long had a dribbling problem.

When my pelvis is tilted forward when i "hinge" down to pick up something is when the post dribble occurs. I consciously make sure my pelvis is tilted back when peeing and i still experience this.

Had this since high school I thought it was normal to pee all the time until somebody asked me why I pee so much 🤣. I suffer from this. Im usually the 2nd guy the one that takes it out the 2nd,3rd,4th time to let the extra out. Then after that I have urges again. Literally this triggers my anxiety, anxiousness. One of the main reasons why I hate going out to the movies or the park because I have that incomplete bladder. The urge to use the restroom after I already went. I've just tried it after trying to pee. There has been an effect, not majorly but better than before. I think it's a case of routine exercise whilst peeing. I don't think it's prostatitis. I believe it's muscular because I've been on antibiotics for almost a week and the Dr says these are the most powerful antibiotics (ciprofloxcin) at 500mG. So this is my story.... Only of a night time I am up for a few hours dribble here, flow here etc. So I cut out dairy, no cheese, yogurts, milks, butter. (No joy) What I believe now is: when I'm asleep the bladder fills and is ready to pee in my relaxed state. After lots of research and understanding, on a spiritual basis too, I've realised that fear, or anxiety will cause muscular tension. If you have had major trauma from people in your work, and family, and neighbours they will cause you stress and trauma. This stress and trauma has an impact on the muscles, especially in the back and lower back and pelvic region. After cutting out certain foods and strictly controlling what I eat it boils down to muscular pain induced by standing a lot in a certain area. Pain is felt in the leg/groin/ testicle area in the inner thigh as if no blood is getting there and it then becomes inflamed. So exercise is important to get blood into the area, cutting out sugars and eating less as you get older wil help. The blood is very fluid when we are younger and becomes slower and slightly thicker in viscosity as we get older and that's where the problem is. Aspirins thin the blood, so I'll try this next. So to conclude, get the blood in the pelvic muscles... massage, exercise, sit on a hot water bottle (don't burn Ur ass😂) rock 'n' roll the pelvis, get the blood down there and see how it improves. Best wishes 😃oh and always pray to Jesus, confessing your sins and freely forgive with God's grace. Receive the Lord Jesus Christ Yahushua and He will heal you!

I used to have this problem but what works for me 100% of the time is after finishing I press up on my perineum with my fingers to press out leftover liquid from my urethra and give one last shake. 100% dry every time!

I always sit and pee now. Cuz pee comes in all form: dribble, sprinkler, pee going to the side. Sitting solves the problem and I don't have to clean after myself

I could not control my urine, it seemed that the urine was coming out on its own If I ever went to urinate, it would not happen, but after a while it would come out on its own There is a limit to any disease and now all limits were crossed If this happen in front of anyone, I would be very embarrassed but now I am fine , all thanks to Utracon this product change my life fully .

Hello iam 31 years old, i had prostate inflamed, i had 2x antibiotics and found Ureoplasma bacteria. After that i have noticed after pee some drops in my pants, and also hapened it after masturbation... some days its better, some not. Doctor invite me to CT, and they found the prostate is little bit bigger, but also send me to uroflowmeter, this was OK. So i have this after pee dribble problem, about 15-30 minutes after pee. So do Kegel workout ? or what is better ? walk, run ? Thank you very much for help.

I call that annoying drip the deadly teaspoon. The small but nuisance drop that will stain your pants at the most innoportune time especially if you are in the public eye such as a date or interview or other such stressful time when you will need to take a leak just before the meeting. No matter how much you shake your peg the last drop will run down your leg.

My 90percent of urine comes out perfectly straight and then the 10% comes out drop by drop and whenever I go for commode i usually pee the whole time , i.e, 15-20 mins and if I take my phone with me then 40-50 mins, is this all problem associated with pelvic floor muscles?

my dribble turns to full on urinating just from walking or getting out of the car or going up steps. I cannot control it due to several surgical procedures I had to have done. The damage inside is too great to fix.

This confirms what I have been saying for along time. Stop sitting unless your shitting. Men are buildt to urinate in a standing position. This of course does not mean one should leave the toilet area in a mess. If you are always sitting try standing again...at least when you think you have finished and are not completely releaved.

When I hear what this young man says it begs the question "Why are so many younger men bothered with this problem these days?" Possibly because they have been taught to sit while urinating? Just a question because this was not so common among younger men in the past to my knowledge.

I doubt it will cure the problem which could be for any reason. Quercetin or eating a RED delicious apple for one to two weeks, may stop the leakage. It temporarily worked for me a few years ago and does not work anymore.

Just a comment on my pee flow... imagine siphoning a tank of water.... Well the trick is start siphoning your pee from your bladder without peeing and when you feel you have enough let it all come out in a strong stream of pee... a very good flow!... it takes practice... start at home in private and when you're happy you can start doing the same in public... I believe it helps to empty the bladder as well... I've recently practised and it makes you feel better.. try sucking a tube of water from a container of water and there you go... Its all about hesitating before you pee and let your pee come without actually peeing and it's a great feeling of relief when you get used to it.... I know this will help
