I think even if the Oilers were to lose, all they'd have to do is look across the ice at the team they are playing & say to themselves 'These guys made it here last year & lost & still made it back again, by gawd we can have that opportunity to do it also'. Granted, there could be changes & it's hard to make it back to the Cup Final again - although the Panthers & Lightning have proven it isn't entirely difficult to do so - but the Oilers could be the next ones to do so. Man, what a crazy journey as an Oilers fan. This is going to be an awesome series, lots of great story lines. The Oilers were playing the right way to finish off the Stars, Skinner since being pulled against the Canucks has excellent numbers, the depth has scored some big goals, special teams have been elite and the defensive structure has been tight. Florida is also an excellent, physical, deep and structured team who has already made history making a second straight finals after losing last year! Each team in this finals is facing a bit of a different beast in this finals, super exciting!

Last year had to be a glitch in the Matrix. Honestly this was probably the best outcome, for meme goers and the team itself. We needed to move on from a stagnant Keefe, hopefully Berube is a bit of a jolt. We need to find a way to get Marner to move his NMC, otherwise he'll just continue to be a pussy next season for us. I just think we're too predictable with our offensive game plan, when Auston is shut down it's game over, our depth doesn't step up in May unlike Edmonton. I think Florida is stacked and got a good chance to win this year. Also Sam Reinhart deserves to win a cup maybe it’ll show the Sabres organization why it was such a bad choice not to sign him back immediately.
