I was a .50 cal gunner that served in Afghanistan for 6 months. This guys reloads we’re choppy, but reasonably fast for a training environment. If you’ve ever operated an M2 you’ll know that there’s a piece of the feed mechanism that is exactly the width of a .50 cal round and, if pushed too far, rounds will get easily stuck in the feed tray at odd angles. Other than that, the was easily placing the (heavy) ammo cans into the mod. 93 and cycling the weapon properly once the rounds were in. The only criticism you could say is the weapons maintenance nco’s might have a bitch fit about you loading the rounds so far over, it “damages” the feed arm. They used to remind me to load the rounds a bit short of the feed arm over the pawls and charge twice once the cover’s closed. Anyways, I digress: Stfu about shit you’ve never done.

As a 0331 Machine Gunner in the USMC, and did two combat tours in 09, and 2011. I always thought that the Army didn't take it as seriously as we did, specifically MGs. Though this vid was training, it showed that there are plenty army infantry units out there doing work and doing it well. Good stuff gents
