I am sobbing my heart out. I sang in this choir in 1986. (later edit: I sang in this choir, not this song). I am 59 years old. Most of my thoughts of late have been "feeling a little bit low", and here you come and lift us all up again. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Good question, they are so multifaceted! They single in exquisite harmony, in perfect pitch - music in many different languages - English, Xhosa, Zulu, Afrikaans, Sotho, Christian gospel and hymns...

This is indeed the world's best choir. A choir where you can hear all the voices come together as one to produce such magic. The tenors and altos are just amazing. As always, the sopranos and the bass never disappoint. Absolutely fantastic 💯💯💯

Just think. The greatest choir in the world is a bunch of twenty-year-olds. And think too what they show the world about the strengths and potential of South Africa. And don’t forget that even before Andre van der Merwe made this stunning arrangement, Jerusalema had become something close to the world’s anthem, not to mention a worldwide dance phenomenon of historic proportions. Thank you South Africa. You are stronger than you know. Land of Music and more.

Dear South Africa. We hear so much about South Africa's many great problems. But you are stronger than you may know. The fact that this choir, the greatest in the world, is both so diverse and so excellent shows us that. The Land of Music also has many other strong institutions. They are your country's promise.

As a avid choir lover and an absolute fan of The Greatest Showman, this gave me goosebumps for days!!! Saw André work his magic when he was with the SA Youth Choir and they came to perform at choir festival in Potchefstroom. I was part of the Northwest Youth Choir back then. Still one of my favourite conductors and musicians. Thank you for the magic, André and the SUC.

The sadness of this is that it doesn't go on forever and is lost through time. These young people will age and go their separate ways. That is why I call it a choral tone poem. And he is a genius with layers of harmony, pacing, bringing his choristers to perfection. He has also built a culture of excellence for this choir that means that choir veterans are his allies in bringing new members along. This choir. - and many others in SA - perform at a level above the world average. They also draw richness both from indigenous music and the vibrant SA pop scene.

I discovered this choir at the height of the covid pandemic in China. I had just moved there. This choir kept me alive. Thank you for lifting me out of the darkness. Welcome back. We had missed your bespoke renditions of so many great songs. Also, if I could do life again, I would go to uni at Stellenbosch, if only to be a part of this choir. I am curious how the process of rehearsal of this choir. Because trust me, it's not easy to produce this beautiful symphony. When we hear a choir singing beautifully it means lots of hard work and discipline that all of them gave to achieve it together. Salute for the conductor. Great work 👏🏼👏🏼
