Great video instructions...I think Kirby makes an optional 12 foot hose.... so if you think about it... you almost wouldn't need to convert to canister mode with such a long hose... you would run a much less risk of tipping it since you have that length... I have a 12 foot extension hose with my current vacuum (not a Kirby unfortunately)... but I still may get one soon... Anyway.... with a hose that legnth it's freaking amazing that it can turn a vacuum into almost a central vacuum... rarely having to move the vacuum while in each room cleaning... Maybe just move it a little here and there... Dusting brush is my favorite I end up using that to dust everything high and low... use the floor brush for vacuuming hard floors...etc.

Great video again! Kirby works very well in the canister mode. It follows you easily when you pull from the hose and normal hose is a big plus. Much better than other uprights with the stretch hose.

Great tutorial! Unfortunately, I only have the hose which came with a G3 a while ago. I'd love to have a sentria 2, avalir, or avalir 2. Just painted my $20 G6 in the colors of a Dyson DC04 De Stijl. It turned out great. Ill be finishing a video of it pretty soon for my channel

I’ve never had an issue with leaving the upright handle on when putting the hose on and I find putting the portable handle on just a waste of time. To each his own though. If you’d rather convert it all the way, go for it.

For the very few times I have used my Kirbys in the canister-hose mode I leave the upright handle on.Its easier to move if you have to place the machine by hand.Since I am a vacuum collector have many canisters and even freestanding central vacs to use as canisters.

I don't use my Zipbrush on my curtains--they get wrapped in the spinnig brush.If my curtains get dirty I just take them down and put them in the washer.DONE!You can put them back up damp after the washers last spin cycle.I use curtains that are washable.

Galaxy I have a mate that lives in Perth. Loved Perth , hopefully move there once my channel takes off. Wasn’t in the sales pitch when we moved to SA that it got cold . I thought all of Aus was hot. 😂 1st winter in Adelaide it went down to -2 I. The morning 😂

I have an Avilir2. The portable handle slides in horizontally. It is stuck. I don’t know how to get it out and can’t find a video on an Avilir2. The portable handle for the Avilir1 slides down into the machine horizontally. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

My avalir 2 have a plastic tube inside the bag so the bag can't be attached to the handle. Is this a problem?

Are you in the UK. Mine was a UK one which had muffler in the bag , i replaced the outer bag with one from USA
