Sandhagen could have a hell of a coaching career once he retires. Kind of coaching I like, relaxed vibes.

reductio ad absurdum is an awesome pedagogy technique, best ncos I worked with to great effect in combat medicine and airborne ops emplyed it, easier to emphasize what, how, and why not to do things to reinforce the significance, rather than just say do it this way without any theorem as to the pitfalls of doing shit freestyle

I’m not even an MMA fighter, I’m a boxer but I got my black belt in Tae Kwon Do back when they weren’t giving out belts for free lol. If I ever do transition to MMA or kick boxing I’m going to keep this in mind. Great vid!

probably got one of the best striking bases in MMA a tdk guy who can box properly is something to be seriously feared, focus on the ground game and you could easily transition 👍🏻

Similar story for me. TKD red belt, just started to box recently because my hands felt kind of useless. The stance is completely different of course. I still find myself often in sideways stance after a couple of mixed interactions.

I would love to see you break down or react to recent or upcoming fights. From what I have learned about you through your interviews it seems that the way you see fighting is very nuanced and unique compared to other fighters.

Self Notes: - in a square foot stance, easy access to Round House. - flexible hips don't need leg pivoting - more rotate more time to get back - Teep is better for taller fighters
