John here ! My session this week with Danny was brilliant - his generosity in giving us this quality of teaching every week is peerless. I'm not just saying this to be a brown noser but you are by far the best instructor on the innerweb. Thanks for all you do for us because for me you have taken a golf hitter in the hundreds to a sometimes good golfer who scores into the mid eighty's constantly. We have done this in the last 3 years which might not seem too big a deal but I only have 1 left hand & a thumb and index finger on my right-handed swing. So thanks again for all your help and have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Good Morning now Danny as it's hard to type with 1 hand also !!!

As always, thank you very much for the excellent video and instruction. We don’t generally hear in classic golf swing instruction to close the clubface a little bit at set up. I BELIEVE we were left to assume somehow that the clubface would close (magically) with a correct and awesome turn with the hips in a proper downswing . And, of course, I could never achieve this so I pushed and faded almost everything all the time. So what did I do? I aimed more left. 😂 Of course, I’ve seen many club players close their club faces in their set ups before in an EXTREME manner and always thought that looked really hokey and, quite frankly, ugly for a set up. And, oddly enough, many times it seemed to work for them. When I’ve closely watched Tour players, it doesn’t seem like you see them closing their clubfaces much but maybe it’s just difficult to catch on tv. But I’m excited to try this. Thanks so much.
@DanielMaudeАй бұрын
Love to hear how you get on…remember you are only closing the club face to the path. At set up the club face is still aiming right of target for a draw shot it’s just closed to the path

Thank you Danny the GOAT! Would love to see these ideas applied to the hybrid. Seems like everyone I know, including me, fights the pull hook with these clubs. I don’t usually blame the club, but I hit every other club in the bag either straight or with a slight draw most of the time. Really struggling with aligning and/or getting the grip in a neutral position with the hybrid so the face doesn’t snap shut at impact.
