I would never defent Harari but you're taking this out of context. What I believe he means, and I'm not defending his position, is with continuing technological infiltration (automation, AI, robots), many things which people currently do will no longer need to be done, therefore many jobs go away. A charitible interpretation on this is to plan for a world where this is true. The real problem is the gigantic (and growing) corporations and assosiated institutions (read: governmentsWEF/WHO/WB) don't give a rat's pattootie since the fewer employees they have means they make more money.

The first time I watched this ... guy... say anything, he sounded evil and cruel regarding other human beings.
