I always love when games give players usless tips. I think it adds to the charm, and as long as it's not too intrusive it's like the dev is a cricket on your shoulder whispering things into your ear. Imagining the people who actually needed those tips, or would've never figured things out otherwise is funny too. (Even though usually that person is me)
