You might be surprised on how , relatively , quiet that engine will be . What are the plans for the diff ?

It has a weak volvo Locker diff at the moment but we will be replacing it with a welded diff for drifting at some point

I reckon I could have significantly reduced the weight of most of the old bangers I used to own by taking out all the Scotchloks and redundant wiring!

Glad you guys are back, missed the vids. Gotta say Hate those electric connectors that cut into the wires, hopefully not too much damage to the original harness. You are correct removing the A/C will improve performance especially with all that weight gone and the drag on the engine.

I would have left the towbar on. You never know day might come where you want to use it not just that if someone drives into the back of the car if will suffer less damage than the persons car that hit you.

it looks more like a resonator then a silencer to me have something like it on my motorcycle loud as hell but when i added a baffles that blocked at one end with holes along the tube that did make the sound in db lower the resonator thqat looks like what you had just seemed to make the exhaust tone deeper rather then quieter

Every 1980/90’s tow bar connected into loom with a load of scotch locks. That’s how it was done back then. Also, aftermarket radio’s connected in same way.

Aaaaarrrggghhh ScotchLocks ... used to sell and fit stereos. can't remember how many home Radio/Alarm installations we put right as they had been put in with ScotchLocks.

Looks a tidy example, relief to get rid of those bloody Scotch Blocks, nothing worth keeping us ever attached by scotch blocks. Give my love to Norfolk🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍

That silencer isn't gonna do much for you. Have to see if it's enough with the silencing effect of the turbo but I think it'll give you headaches (with the neighbours!)
