That Cyclops just looming over him the entire time, the towering height to it attempted to force its blade down from time to time till finally it just gave up and stood there, staring down at Hamish, occasionally laughing, waiting... definitely reminded me of when Adam pulled a similar stunt with Greg, using him to grab some health potions and pause just at the critical point. Also, you can tell this is the Post Adventures Greg who has been desensitized to death and just doesn't care anymore, where the previous Greg Adam associated with, you could tell he was a bit freaked out by what was going on. Nice and scary character development there. Oh here is a terrifying thought... what if Greg returns home only to find his shop is in perfect working order, no mess, no nothing, and that there is a version of him standing there, staring at him in solemn terror, shaking his head...

1:25 Patch Notes for version 22.6: Following complaints from players, the songs that NPCs sing have been severely shortened. _PS: We're still working on a Skip button for them, but just hold on guys!_

I see Hamish and I click. Brilliant short. it makes you both sad and laugh. that ogre laugh definitely broke the ice lol

Don't know if this was the desired affect you guys wanted from us but I was sad and I laugh at the same time but I think the laugh, was just a cope mechanism to hide how sad, I really was for the ultimate fate of the adventurer. :( Nice work. :)

I love all your videos. Been a fan for years, long before you guys made it big. You are all great actors, but there is something about Hamish I like, he plays the characters in such way that one can relate with on an emotional level. Again, all of you are amazing. Keep up the great work, and I hope nothing but the absolute best for you. Edit: You guys have made an amazing amount of GOOD content for years, I can only imagine what you will be able to do with the new studio. Can't wait

It's amazing how Hamish made it all the way back to Honeywood after Rowan, Alan, and Adam ate shit to the cyclops. You'd think he would have gotten out of the aggro range at some point.

Greg the garlic farmer is the best part of these skits. I like the simplicity and focus on a good story instead of complex visual effects and costumes. I mean, I appreciate all of those too but never lose this low key good old location and characters, guys. The beautiful Honeywood introduction music and these characters are what I associate VLDL the most with. And Hamish is just the best miserable character actor, besides Adam, of course.

Greg is usually so self aware, but sometimes you get situations like these where he really doesn't understand what's going on.
@maximtsai18562 жыл бұрын
I think he understands. He just recognizes that there's nothing more he can do to help with his limited NPC abilities.
@RequiemPoete Жыл бұрын
Yeah, he knows he can't go against his code. He can only act freely in situations that his code hasn't been scripted for. For I stance Quest Gregg can beg the adventurer NOT to complete the quest, but he can't run away from the adventurer and thus make the quest incompleteable.
