Sir Andy, the quintessential warrior in adversity. People talk about the Big 3, but for me the 4th big guy on tour was and always will be Andy, never forgotten to what he did back then more than hanging with the big boys & what he's capable now post his hip surgery. Salute!

The Big 3 are Gods-Andy’s the People’s Champion of this tennis era. Unmatched grit. He fought his way to World #1 in ‘16 through nearly maniacal determination and almost destroyed his body in the process. It’s impossible not to respect what he’s achieved. I will always root for him every time he walks that metal hip onto court until the day he retires.

He brought me into tennis and is the very reason why I love this sport. I try to emulate his mental mindset on court and push myself 110% to try and win every point. Don't forget Murray won gold in the Olympics under Coach Lendl shortly before Finally winning his first major there. Among other things, lost to Fed twice and Nole once in slam finals before USO 2012, Sean Connery iirc was in the crowd in all of his slam finals. Murray was pretty passive/ conter puncher style (except against Nadal- nobody outgrinds Nadal) until Lendl became his coach- definitely made a huge difference in his confidence & average aggression
