This movie definitely had some scary moments. An example of how you can't always trust low ratings on Netflix.

Never take a random girl home with you, that's the moral of the first vid :)

They need to keep making these V/H/S movies, I'd watch. I really love the concept of having different directors for each story.

The creepy-chick at the party bit just freaked me out, and I am a tough person to scare....I put horror movies on to listen to while I fall asleep at night quite frequently....and I must say I have been largely disappointed in horror, and yes, movies in general, for at least a decade.....but that creepy missis and the generally creepy situation she was in as well.....she will never leave me......she is burned into my memory.......love it!!!!! I like you......phew......awesome.....

The first segment and the last are by far the craziest and most intense. But I think I was actually most frightened by the Skype segment. There was a part in that segment where I almost had a heart attack.

My husband just LOVES to whisper, "I like you," in the dark ever since seeing this movie. Scares the shit out of me every time lol.

I'm so horrified by the first segment, I forgot the rest of the film! I saw this in 2012, saw it again in 2015, and I still can't remember the rest of the movie just because of the first segment!

It's cool I looked away as well... it was the scene when that guy escapes the room and goes into a stairway then the creepy girl follows him and you can hear her open the door. I shat myself quite frankly

I saw the beginning of your review and that was enough for me to pause this and go watch it right away. V/H/S is a damn good movie.. it's an anthology which actually makes it more interesting than the usual "found tape"movies. Man I was so creeped out and the fact that nothing was really explained made it even more scary. I loved it.

This movie has the most realistic throat cutting scene in it I've ever seen in a movie honestly.
