Wait what kind of awful therapist wouldn't want someone to open up about trauma during their first session? They are basically giving you easy mode and the therapist insinuating that it's not the right time for that is grossly unprofessional. You aren't a friend they are putting an emotional burden on, you are being PAID for this. It's your entire job.
