My neck was damaged by a chiropractor about 40 years ago giving me a variety of psychological as well as physical symptoms. I've only used this exercise for four days but I'm already experiencing a lot of positive effects including lifting my mood and keeping me centred and having less anxiety and feelings of overwhelm I'm so very grateful to you for posting this. Literally life changing! God bless you!

I’ve got badly damaged cervical vertebrae’s from a whiplash injury 40 years ago. Right side of my neck has seized up I can’t lie on my right side it brings on vertigo and nausea. Nothing has helped going to a chiropractor made it worse, physio doesn’t help. I can’t take strong painkillers so I constantly have a headache, leading to vertigo and nausea, blurry vision. I’m 82 already! My doctor more or less has said I’ll just have to live with it.😢 Wow! I did that exercise once and can’t believe the lifting of the pressure in my head, increased blood flow, even my eyes feel clearer. I’ll certainly keep on doing that movement. Also the tongue exercise you explained in one of your other videos. Thank you so much for your help, you’ve given me hope that I can do something simple to help myself.👍😊

Test your vagus nerve: with a mirror in hand, open mouth and hum, looking at your uvula (the tissue hanging between your tonsils). It should vibrate without pulling to one side. If it pulls to the side while hum vibrating, you very likely have a pinched vagus nerve.

Fantastic info! Can't get enough clear, useful anatomy teaching like this. Many thanks! Pressure behind eyes, lessened greatly, vision cleared some (I'm 61)... got lots of needed 'pops' releasing pressure in neck etc, relief in neck & more. Can think more clearly, less frustrating brain fog. Just feel better in general. Had forgotten the Mulligan move years ago. Minutes later, got increased neck ROM, relief in some attachments & muscles of shoulder girdle, delts, upper abs/diaphragm area, etc. Isometrics are key! Very happy 😄 Also pterygoid stretch and the 'turkey head' move for the planar/gliding joint in neck (atlantooccipital?) added to my benefits. Thank you for all you do 😊

I'm definitely going to do this everyday but starting out... while sitting down until I get used to it and make progress in improvement. Made my brain feel like it used to after a good workout and several minutes after, that relaxed feeling you mentioned, like when you want to sit down and relax into the blood flow benefits you get when you feel that gentle relaxing pulse in your skull after your workout is over. I''ve had lots of neck issues for years from various causes incl whiplash & cycling & head injuries, & neck is "too straight" - so I've been cautious to do much by myself, Cranial Sacral helps, but recently a goiter CT scan showed C4&5 "degenerating".. Also been learning how crucial is the Vegus Nerve, and been told back area of head is "locked up" , so I paid attention to this video ~ & did the technique, cautiously & gently ~ clear instructions, thank you .. felt it most in upper mid back, which is usually tight. And a lot of odd 'popping' sensations in left shoulder as releasing ~ & a yawn!!! Yayy!! Also afterwards a noticeable but mild aching both sides of neck. I didn't particularly enjoy it as another commenter did, but it is clearly effective and something that feels important to do. And I will look up your course. Many thanks

Of course my mind thought the worst but as the months have gone on I’m realising this flares up when I’m feeling stressed out… always had a sensitive neck area, quite a long and relatively thin neck.
