Eero, since you are Finish can you skate? high level hockey players have great Inversion/eversion strength in the calf.

Good stuff. Yeah, the main advantage of the mace and clubs are that they are just very fun. Your arms are sore and you stop because you are spent. You can improve your roundhouse kicks even more if you do a micro-hop to turn your standing foot around (heel faces target) instead of turning on it. You only jump 2mm, and you need to have your foot on the ground when you make contact. But this will open up your hips more while also speeding up the kick. I head kick people all the time, even though people know I'm going to do it before going into the sparring match because they know me. Then I catch them glancing at my feet, and that's when I punch or shoot.

What's your opinion on the other traditional Indian wrestling exercises like the Dand (Hindu push up) and the Baithak (Hindu squat).??? They seem a staple of their training along with the Gada club swinging.
