I know you you've already beaten the game vale, but here is a little tip for the next time you play. The ability you can activate on the X wings is actually a speed boost. It makes them faster at the cost of accuracy and damage. So you will want to activate it to get in range of the enemy and then turn it off when the proper fighting starts.

Cheese sandvich all defending units get the temporary buff of having gear for a specific environment for example if you had units defending dagobah said units would have gear that negates the debuffs of the swamps unlike the invaders.

Build up you planetary infrastructure, like factories and barracks, they give you free units for defense. Also your space stations. Corvettes are great for defending capital ships from fighters.

Build a much larger fleet? 20x X-Wings, 20x Y-Wings, 10-15x Nebulon-B Frigates. Since this is on FOC, maybe get some B-Wings to replace the Y-Wings. Use a large amount of assault frigates. And so on Also when attacking space stations, destroy the shield generator and hanger first. Then you’ll be able to attack safely without them getting more reinforcements as quickly

How to cunningly win as rebels: * Pause the game on start to plan everything. * Regularly steal enemy's technology to gain new heroes. * Do only raids. * Build turrets and healing pods where you need them. * Upgrade your space stations only at the borders of your territory. * Captured territories should have at least one ground structure before you move out to raid another planet. Honestly you are so bad at this game that I think you should play as Zann's Consortium first on easy mode. This is an overpowered faction. You can take down enemy planets only as Urai Fen and reinforce your initial borders with better space stations to have a better score in the campaign's ending summary menu. Just remember how to use he's stealth field. The best title in the game is high general.

Sad not to see the rebellion's strengths in this episode. MPTL Artillary is badass against basically anything if you can keep them protected with turrets and ground troops. And you can sneak them in with the rebels sneak attack ability so you don't have to wait until you win space. And then there's Speeders, which are hard countered by a few things, but kill buildings easily across the whole map.
