me too, i really tried to keep a balance embracing and taking care of the npcs, hell i dont know how many hours i spent running around curing everyone since the game doesnt have a waypoint system, and i still got the bad ending, i embraced npcs who wanted to die or were complete assholes and yet the game basically told me fuck you, sad face :(

But did you betray Lady Ashbury? I believe that the “kill limit” is 5, but if you turn Aloysius Dawson then you lock yourself out of the ‘good’ endings.

Just finished the game.I was surprised when I got the bad ending I mean really Wtf.I haven’t eaten the good folk.Just a few murderers few gangsters and Aloysius Dawson(cause why the hell not he’s already dying).Elisabeth was like:”You betrayed me!”Bitch what?I even didn’t eat your damned daughter though she was worth a 5000xp.I think the system of endings needed to be changed somehow.(I won’t even start talking about all these countless Guardians of Prewien.Pour dudes they didn’t deserved to die(despite the way of gathering the money)I wish there was a way to befriend them.I hope there will be second part with improvements of course.)

I didn't lose any district but got the worst ending. Feels bullshit. I ate six 'innocents' but many deserved it: A Zealot priest who burned women to death. Fishburn the idiot serial killer. Clay a bloodthirsty thug. Bates, an abusive landlord who used his position to force himself on women. Venus who tried to kill her husband and Jonathan's best friend. Carina who wished for death over her tortured existence; mercy. Joe a murderous thug and his son who was annoying. Benjamin who tried to shoot his son over some pills. Albert a would be sociopath thug. Olysius Dawson an idiot who would doom thousands. And then there's more you could justify killing like Booth and Edwina, I only spared them to aim for the bad or good ending.

I agree with everyone’s death except maybe Joe, Henry, Benjamin, and Albert. I’ve played Skyrim and Fallout enough to have a strict ‘no kid kiIIing rule’ permanently etched into my brain. Joe tried to get a decent job but got rejected, Benjamin is going crazy BECAUSE he isn’t taking his pills because the kid keeps stealing them. I just don’t think they’re bad ENOUGH people, y’a know?

Yeah i embraced 3 people.( the one in the tutorial) The priest and that guy that lived in the house in front of nurse crane her "hospital". All disctricts where healthy or sanitised ! I really did my best to give everyone a cure when i saw someone was sick. I got the good ending so i am happy 😁 I only ask myself when are they gonna be released from the dungeon when the cure is made 🤔

So I just finished the game and got the good ending. I embraced 4 people (crazy vampyr woman in Pembroke, Indian doctor in Pembroke, priest Whitaker in Whitechapel and Aloysius Dawson storywise). Dorothy Crane and Sean Hampton became skals so I killed them basically, embraced Dawson as I wrote before and left Swansea to die (all four important people dead). The Docks went hostile but I managed to stabilize it again. After Swansea's death the whole hospital died for some unknown reason so Pembroke went and stayed hostile. Hope that helps. :)

I finish it today and its my first time ,i didn't embrace any single soul and the game was god damn hard i was in lvl 25 when i killed the red queen after the 30 times of trying to kill her and i did it the game was hard but its worth it to get the good ending

I embraced 1 person and all districts are ok I killed Swansea, I let Aloysius Dawson die, I made Mccallum a vampire and I killed the person you saved at the docks and brought back to Pembroke hospital and i got the great ending

I think the endings are only tied to embrace count. In my first (just finished) playtrought I spared everyone (damn you voice in my had this is my game) but let the docks turn hostile and still got the best of the best.

I got the worst ending and I had only one fallen district. Your eyes could turn red and white from the pupils and you will still get the best ending.

Its not even hard to get the worst ending, just finished the game with it, none of the districts went hostile, only pillar that died was dawson, all the other pillars stayed alive and got the best resolution for them and I only nibbled on 15 people from the whole city all who deserved it, I even spared mccullum and I got the worst ending like wtf..

So I got the Best Ending, and the reason was because... "You have been defeated. Drinking from citizens will make the game easier." No, I'll kill this LvL 19 at LvL 4, and nothing else, DARK SOULS : VAMPYR !!! I barely rarely sold items, everything broken down, and used to upgrade or make serums... Held back my Blood Thirst for: The Docks Murderer Seymour, Whitechapel Fire Cleasner Priest ("I see you're still lost my son"), Rent Collector, Collossus, Wet Boots Boys Aspirant ("Boy")... There should be more but ... Dr. Arkyrody (He not bad, but he a snitch and a jealous female dog) In the end, I love it.... I hate I couldn't avoid Mary in the first scene or try to convince her in the other scene, So sad to kill my sister, twice... Loving Ashbury was a surprise, it just happened, I couldn't choose between her, slapping Swansea's ass... shame..

So i just finished my first run, i got (from the videos i have seen) the worst ending. I only destroyed one district and it was when i was getting rocked the some of the later enemy. Plus the district lost its pillar because i didnt ask the citizens about him to turn him (sean) so i killed everyone out of just not wanting to constantly throw meds at them because i also embraced the fishburn boy. I only embraced/lost maybe one person from the other districts.

I got black eyes after embracing Swansea (i embraced all four Pillars), before so, i embraced 7 people (2 and 1 for each district). Though, in the end, i very purposely went on to embrace everybody. Leaving each district to a flat 0%. Lots of laugh. (Though that S.L.W prick in the newspapers was trash.)

This is old but the best way to handle it is to get both hints from Carolyn and Charles then charm him into not being afraid to die. He ends up giving all of his money to the poor and charities and when I went back to his mansion after his death, he left 3 keys by his couch that went to the 3 locked safes in his house. Ended up getting a bunch of free treatments and 500 coins 👍

Only just finished the game, and now looking for the alternative endings! I think I got the good ending, but I can't really tell much difference between the good and best ending. I played the game without killing any civilians, mostly due to getting the trophy. Although, I did make Sean and Nurse Crane go "missing". I'm going to reply it again to get the rest of the trophies, and see what happens if I kill everyone...
