Linda, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Speaking from my experience of losing my son, know the pain gets to where it's only incremental and peppered with wonderful memories that will bring a smile to your face. My prayers are with you. For more Van Morrison, try Tupelo Honey. Obviously, I'm partial to Van.

I think he’s done Tupelo Honey on the channel. Check me, but I think he has. Lost a grandchild. It’s never ending. So many triggers as the years go by. No way to comfort my kids…😢It’s just too much. Strength and peace to you as well. 🙏🏼🕊️

Van's voice is one of the smoothest ever. Linda, sending you love and good thoughts on the loss of your son. It's almost the anniversary of my husband's passing and he used to play this for me to dance to in the driveway under the stars. But this song will always remind me of my daddy who said this song always makes him think of me and how I used to ask him to play/sing it for me when I had a bad dream when I was a wee little thing. So, as much as I love this song, I won't be able to listen to it without crying from the flood of good memories but that's ok; that's what music is..... A virtual hug to all. Sebs, I love your love story and you get it. Love is that peaceful feeling; not saying there's not passion but that peaceful quiet is the love that will stand the test of time. Another song that says that really well (which happens to be the song my late husband used to describe how he felt about me) is James Taylor's Something in the Way She Moves Me

Dude. Crazy love is great and all Van Morrison is fantastic and one of our favorites -- But --. “Have i told you lately” is the best van Morrison love song !! Van wrote it and i love his version -- but. Rod Stewart made this a worldwide hit, and Barry Manilow and Michael Buble also cover this song -- as love songs go - this is the one. Vans singing is like the best actor of all time seemingly off the cuff yet perfect in delivery and it makes you feel. hes the best musician ever imo he can play any instrument also even drums. his vocals are sublime also.

Always makes me think of She’s Having A Baby. Same with This Woman’s Work. Definitely watch Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues by Elton John (the music video with the young man and woman). Means so much. My parents were separated by Vietnam. Later when my father worked overseas she would play this constantly when dropping him off and picking him up..

I didn't know Van Morrison did this song, but I have this same song on a 45 record that is done by Hellen Reddy ond I like it much better. you should listen to that one.

Van Morrison WROTE this song. I always prefer the original artist’s version…though I never heard Helen Reddy’s cover (I was not a fan of hers so didn’t really listen to her music)
