Taking your analogy of M&S trousers section, this is a pair of trousers where one leg is red, the other blue, and both legs only reach your ankles. I suspect it would be just too idiosyncratic to easily live with day on day.

Yeah I would. Great car. Almost certainly the most interesting small crossover on the market.
