Great explanation. I'd never heard of this. Going to replace the one in my 2014 900XP now. I assumed it operated by magnet or optical eye. When I saw how cheaply it was made, I knew it was magnetic. Hard to believe it's $100. Thank you for making this video!

Replacing one in my 2014 900XP. Can you explain why it works in reverse but in forward, it goes into limp mode. That doesn't make sense to me.

If the sensor is faulty does it make the bike not idle, but it will run great with throttle applied. My 570 dies right after i start it. But if i give it some throttle right after starting it runs like a champ. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!!
