For those that doubt the significance of the feat, do a day ride of 60 to 100 miles. Once you finish the ride, then multiply that by their days on the bike.

Suffering is what makes it an adventure rather than just a bike ride. Suffering is what makes it memorable. Suffering is what makes it an accomplishment. Suffering Together builds bonds stronger than family (ask any veteran).

You all deserve kudos for a monumental journey that was just exceptionally done - the guys who rode such an incredibly long distance safely, and the superbly talented ladies who kept their riders fed, watered, and supported. As an avid cyclist, my community of cycling friends invited me on their week long 2022 bike bike camping trip around Mt Hood OR, but I took a pass because I didn't want to interrupt my RVing up the OR and WA coast. Midway through watching this series, I shared with them the adventure cycling url and committed to their 2023 ride. this series has been extremely motivational! thank you for producing/sharing it!!

Your best series ever, thank you. It brought back this memory. Before moving to Vt. in 1976. I convinced my little sister to ride from Old Bridge N.J. to Long beach island N.J. (50mi.). We were not bikers and had lousy bikes. While crossing the causeway I looked back and saw her fall into the road (no shoulder). Oh, Christ! She remounted really fast.

Congratulations on your adventure. We did something similar this summer. Our son hiked the Continetial Divide to earning his Triple Crown by completing the entire Applachain in 2018, Pacific Crest in 2021 and now 2022 the CDT. We were able to shadow along this year and stayed within an hour or so of him. He was able to come in about once a week and rest a day, and wash. It was a fantastic experience for us. We met many great hikers along the way. April 21 to mid Sept. 3,000 miles.

very nice series...I also pick up your RAGBRAI 2023 which I also did but I did not stayed on a rv but instead camped on that horrendous heat and I live in Tampa, Fl. Loved watching everyone getting alone on this journey and you three really did a lot of miles very fast, which I could not do or want to. I rode across country from Vancouver WA to Portland Maine and down to NYC to catch the train back to Tampa and it took me a lot longer and I would have loved to run into folks like you out there seeing this amazing world. You are all right regarding how the journey is so much important than the destination...I can remember doing a night ride out of Clermont, Wyoming after stoping at a small bar and looking for a coke and after talking to the owner for about an hour who was cleaning his 9mm Glock , he offered me a campsite but I turned him down because I wanted to get to Devil's Tower and after about 2 hours of riding and going up a pass, I stopped to look at the incredible Milky Way and his soon pull over with two cokes and a pizza. Those are the moments that I keep with me and gets me through now that I am back chasing the dollar so I can go out and have another adventure. So nice to see you doing this with family and friends and I am certain it is great to share to memories with us the audience and filming is so much work as to why I do not do it. Anyway, glad for the series and congratulations in such adventure and Charlie is awesome. Cheers.
