This is actually my first time watching one of your videos Mr Van Morrison. First time I watched it I was beside myself. 👍The reason being I know your age you're in your early '70s like my older brother and you sing like you're 26 years of age.🌺 The only thought I could think of is how could that be true 👍 I believe that God gave you a gift to sing to the world 🌍about love and all that goes with it. He is allowing you to continue to sing because you're doing it for the right reasons it appears to me is that you are on that stage because you love music 🌹🎀. And what it does to your audiences. Your music and your talent brings us so much joy and happiness. Thank you 🌹👍👍

I have been a huge fan of Van Morrison for 60 f--kin years since I first heard him sing Gloria with "Them" in 1964 and then solo with TB Sheets, Brown Eyed Girl, Irish Lullaby, On the Bright Side of the Road and so many others. He always kept his own unique style and never gave in to musical fads. This fantastic cover of the late, great Sam Cooke's Bring it on Home to Me shows how, like fine wine, he just gets better with age.😅

If men only knew that a good woman only wants a man that’s going to be a friend a lover and a good husband , that would save a lot of heart ache! Money means nothing to me! I can live off of love and friendship and my Faith and I’ve worked most of my life. Also good woman will stay around if the man is sane and safe to be around! I had a great friend that I loved dearly but he died just weeks before we were going to catch up with each other and his parents. I loved him so much and he inspired me to write a song or two about him. I’m going to update the ADATS to a current format and give the two songs to his parents. We use to walk the Sandy shores and lean against each other (back to back ) and share something about each other that we loved and then we would just walk for miles and talk about how adorable our kids would be one day. He committed suicide the night I called to check on him and my heart broke and has not been the same. He was so gentle and kind and his kiss was always tender and never did we argue. Miss my Johnny Boy. I can say I truly knew Love❤️

very few people in Belfast have any time for Ivan Morrison ( save those over 65 who remember him for the early days in Them) and they certainly don't refer to him as the Belfast Music Man !

I had a heart attack four years ago and it was touch and go for a while. my daughter put a song list together for me and it had sam cooke's bring it on home to me on it. a day later i came to to that song playing in my headphones. i danced with my daughter and my wife in my hospital room to that song before i left the hospital. i love this rendition but sam's version of it will forever be my favorite song. sorry.

mackette54 WOW Mack that IS MAYNERD G. KREBS indeed-that small image caught my eye (-sight at 67 yrs.) and inagination that he supplied greatly on the DOBIE GILLIS SHOW on network television in 1961 approx. That Bob Denver (Bob also portrayed "Gilligan" on the Island) portrayal of the Maynard character is oftem n in my thoughts. Loke big-time just yesterday. Embodied symbol of values missing sorely today. thanks for reminder, mackette Soncerely, Howard Acquistapace

Van does not use backup singers, only accomplished singers in their own right. There are no slouches when it comes to playing with Van. Only the best. One of the singers is Dana Masters. A seasoned performer, Dana has performed for the Pope, President Clinton and Secretary Clinton, Tony Blair as well as presented a major music documentary on BBC, My Name Is Ottilie. In addition to her growing solo career, Dana spent 7 years touring with Van Morrison as a featured vocalist. The second vocalist is Sumudu Jayatilaka. Sumudu is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from London. An exceptional and versatile talent in jazz, pop and soul, she has performed for Her Majesty The Queen and sung with musical luminaries Burt Bacharach, Hal David, Dionne Warwick, Peabo Bryson and Sir Van Morrison to name a few.
