@@svensvenkill DC has had to reaffirm that all their stories happened and have their earths/timelines or whatever like 3 times already. Convergence did that with them stopping the original Crisis, but EVERYONE pretends Convergence didn’t happen. Then came Rebirth and Doomsday Clock. The WHOLE point of those was to make it as though the New 52 was all Manhattan messing with the universe out of curiosity. They made a big deal about how important Superman is, how hope is important and how stories matter... and all the event and initiative did was bring back Superman’s post-Crisis/pre-Flashpoint history proper... BUT THE NEW 52 STILL HAPPENED. They brought back the JSA, but they ignored that shit and the JL doesn’t know who the JSA is in them main books. Superman knew who the Legion was BEFORE they even brought them back with Doomsday Clock. They literally ignored the entire initiative and story being set up. And then Death Metal happened and ONCE AGAIN everything is canon or who gives a shit. They’ll blow up the multiverse again in like 2 years cause DC doesn’t seem to know how to actually use the concept of the multiverse anymore. Like, they can’t even keep their own stories straight with the tie-ins and events, much less the multiverse.

The distributors aren't the problem. The "creative team", and I use that term lightly, have been pushing comics that simply aren't good. Marvel is worse about it, but DC's been pushing activism over good storytelling and until that changes, comic sales will continue to be abysmally low. Most of the things that have been at all decent have been one shots and elseworld type stories. The ongoing series have mostly suffered.

I can see the similarities, but the new space-station is actually the combined universal symbols for Justice and Doom, which we saw with all the stuff involving the Totality and Perpetua's return from the Source Wall. It's also why we hear Barry say that the station is the next stage for the Halls of Justice and Doom.

It’s kinda weird how batman was sidelined in an event about Evil Batmen ruling earth. That’s why I loved Metal, because it focused on the league and batman was still prominent in it and not a throwaway character. Still a great event and end to Wonder Woman.

The event was mainly about Perpetua and Batman who laughs trying to reshape the Universe with Crisis energies, not a bunch of Batmen pawns ruling one earth and Wally was the one who had the powers of Dr Manhattan (Crisis energy), so if wasn't really necessary to focus on Batman or the same league members when this was a multiversal event and it would have been a repeat of Metal if the focus was on the same characters, so having the event revolve around Wonder wonder, Wally and other characters was a breath of fresh air considering Batman is already the most overpushed character. Not to mention this event also had Robin king, Evil Speedsters, Evil Supermen and Darkseid ruling different earths, so it wasn't all Bat related.

I wish they could do smaller stuff that’s easier to get into and you only have to read just one title to get what’s going on in the story. It's hard for me to be too enthusiastic. I've seen these enormous paradigm-shifting events come and go half a dozen times over the years. The whole universe is revamped, everyone gets toyetic new streamlined costumes with extra lines or bells and whistles, and in a year or two we're right back to the classic suits and stories. It's really hard for me to feel an impact anymore, because it always just seems to circle around to a generally reliable nostalgic status quo. Ah, maybe I'm just a cranky old man. Still haven't forgiven them for making Barbara Batgirl again.

Why do I feel like the one who laughs is not dead but massively damaged I mean he got more powerful then perpetua who was one of the hands the creatures that make Multiverses so I feel like he is not dead but best bet he is damaged enough that it will tak a long time for him to recover.

Death Metal was one of the best thing ever. I been following this story the beginning and enjoyed ever single moment and character. It gave me everything I ever wanted and beyond. I love the ending and the only that wish that could have wanted is more but all good thing must come to an end. I’m excited for the future or future state.
