if anyone is wondering the scooter can survive a crash. i crashed mine at top speed and just minor scratches because the the big bolts on the end of the wheels the only thing that happen was steering dampener no longer existent and completely broken brake which you can replace just a pain to run the wire thru the scooter

We’ve had good luck with the Varla brand - we have two of their scooters now.

Becareful with purchasing this scooter from Varla. I purchased the Pegasus last October and after about 500 miles, the rear motor has a grinding sound as if the internal bearings are about to go out. I've already went thru a slew of troubleshooting actions via email with them. Afterwards they concluded my rear wheel will need replacement. They sent me a link to place a 99.00 deposit for replacement and stated it would be refunded once they receive the defective wheel. I immediatly made the payment on 03/28/22. They said they would notify me once they receive a tracking. Well,, currently I have not received that tracking #, and I've attempted to more than 3 times now requesting an order update with no response at all to date! This is not a good sign for company asking over 1k for a product!.
