yes thats correct.. because work done is equal to change in kinetic energy.. no if work done is more then the displacement r amplitude in this case increases and so does the kinetic energy

There is a relation between sound and frequency, more the sound less the frequency, more frequency less the sound. You should say this at 24:54

Sound wave is called longitudinal wave because it is produced by compressions and rarefactions in the air. The air particles vibrate parallel to the direction of propagation.

It was told in the 1st part of this chapter . Vibration is the rapid to and fro motion which produces sound. Oscillation is the to and fro motion which has lower frequency and produces no sound. (For example. Pendulum of a clock oscillates!)
