@suicune2001
@suicune2001 4 жыл бұрын
@@bigtomb1027 The most common breakfast I have is oatmeal. It's quick, filling, and delicious. Mine is a little weird since I actually eat chocolate oatmeal. I cook it in water and when it starts bubbling, I will put in a heaping spoon of 100% dark cocoa powder. It tastes very bitter the first time you eat it but once you know what to expect, it tastes really good. I also include berries with mine and the type of berries will change depending on my mood. Right now, I'm eating it with blueberries, blackberries, and dark cherries. I will also add ground flax seed for omega-3's and a sprinkling of sunflower seeds. If you're new to oatmeal, this one might be better: An apple cinnamon oatmeal. Cook the oatmeal in apple cider and add cinnamon and nutmeg. If you want to add fresh apples, that's perfectly fine. A really nice fall oatmeal is pumpkin pie oatmeal. Get pureed pumpkin and/or sweet potato. Cook the oats and add the pumpkin near the end. You also want to add typical pumpkin spices: Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Since the taste of pumpkin is too strong for me, I also add maple syrup to taste. If I don't feel like something sweet, I'll have a potato scramble. It's exactly like an egg scramble except with potatoes. Potatoes do take a long time to cook on the stove or in the oven so you might want to microwave them first to give them a head start. You can put whatever spices and vegetables you want with it. I load mine up with asparagus, mushroom, spinach, onion, and tomato. You can add Black Himalayan salt if you want it to taste like eggs or you can add spices meant for chicken or steak or just some salt and pepper is fine. You can do whatever you want with it. I hope that helps! :)

When I first went plant based, I kind of had that same struggle! It was tough to get everything I needed in my diet. I took multivitamins so that I wouldn't be too severely deficient. I ate a lot of junk food vegan things, and went out to eat until I could find more ways of feeding myself and staying full. I got several books from the library, and saw lots of recipes and helpful tips on Instagram. It's been about 2 months now, and only once in a while do I get that fatigue from not eating soon enough, or getting the right vitamins. Keep at it, you'll find your way, and you'll discover what your body needs! Good luck!

Great! I just happened to watch Vegan 2017 this morning. I've been a Vegan for precisely 28 days, which is how long it's been since I watched "What the Health" on Netflix. These movies can turn people, because for so many of us, we somehow remained in the dark on these truths so powerful they can be instantly life-changing. Once we realize eating animal products is actually bad for us, and we don't need to do it, then we no longer need to accept consuming animal products no matter what the rationalization, in which case we can see it for what it is. It's a complete paradigm shift, because most of us have always believed we needed to consume animal products, in which case that's just the way things are. Turns out we DON'T live in a dog-eat-dog universe, but a panda-eat-bamboo universe.

Ken Personal Kwashiorkor is a form of malnutrition associated with a deficiency of protein. But you’re neglecting the fact that Africans in this position don’t eat very much food at all. So blaming kids dying from this form of malnutrition on a vegan diet is retarded. They’re simply not eating enough food 😂. And it’s unfortunate. I would agree that if you had to eat meat to survive and you literally had no other options to source your protein then yeah sure eat meat. That doesn’t make meat healthy though

I am not a scholar,but in the "History of Islam"(Seerah). Before the Prophet became the Prophet.He ,peace be upon Him, sought out wise men living at that time.One of them was Bistumusia(not sure about name).But he was wise and respected by Him.He had dinner with Bistumusia, and Bistumusia did not eat the meat,out of mercy for the animals, and He the Prophet did not eat the meat either. I might be wrong but I think meat is a second choice of survival, (some places have less vegetation)but has somehow became the first choice of survival.

In parts of the world almond farmers shoot shitloads of native and endangered birds Vegans want their almond milk and it comes at the cost of murdering. Monocrops like rice, soy,wheat and coffee destroy soil health and fertility because farmers replant them in the same spots every year. Doing this sucks nutrients from the ground and leaves little behind for the next harvest, creating plants that are below their maximum growth potential. Agriculturists use chemical fertilisers to remedy the issue, but this releases nitrous oxide - another greenhouse gas - into the atmosphere and local waterways. ---- Monocrops like rice, soy and coffee destroy soil health and fertility because farmers replant them in the same spots every year. Commercial farms plant monocrops because they earn tons of money and are technically easier to raise. Planting the same crops across your farm reduces the maintenance you put in because they all require the same growing conditions. However, it also boosts the chances of pest infestations and diseases - pests that attack one plant will target the rest. Big farms treat their crops with pesticides to prevent plant death, but this whips up more pollution. Other farmers have turned to integrative systems to combine livestock and crops within the same farm. Commercial industries have notoriously kept these two separate, but this only aids in creating fossil fuels. Agriculturists transport feed for cows, chickens and pigs across long distances - which is less convenient and causes air pollution. Combining farming systems produces less waste and pollution and diminishes the need for chemical fertilisers.

@@boris335 Nah, I don't see you as a murderer (maybe someone with poor spelling and grammar, though 😉). I have a cousin who hunts for the same reasons you do: He finds factory farming unconscionable. I'm vegan, and I don't hate him for it (or anyone else, honestly. I well "get" social conditioning, and you can't wake people up by being hateful over something you, yourself, used to do). He's doing it for ethical reasons in his own way. He is tremendously grateful for the food the animal provides, and the way he hunts, he makes sure that the animal doesn't suffer. He also always bows and prays in reverence to the animal in appreciation for what it provides. Where he gets it wrong, though, is that he assumes that my only problem with eating animals is that they're factory farmed. 🤦He went so far as to say that I'd probably eat the deer he hunts if he taught me how to skin it. 🙄 As an ethical vegan, that will *never* happen. I'll never eat animals, again..and while I don't hate anyone for doing so, I do implore people to be open-minded enough to eat less animal products, at least for their health and the planet, if not for the animals. Peace. xx

The most gratifying part of the film was to see Piers Morgan's face right where it belongs, in the trash can. Veganism is a lifestyle, not a fad, nor a food choice, and its motto reads, "A lone pygmy stands taller on mountain top than a gregarious congregation of egregious giants at its foot."

It is a good choice for some and I wish ethical vegans who are vegan for the animals would recognise that for some it is for health. Only then can some of the division be avoided. That division often gives vegans a bad name and doesn’t help the greater cause. Remember too, that some people who go vegan for their health, then think more about animals and their lifestyle choice. It’s a bit of a longer journey for some. That’s why I say whether you’re vegan in food choices or lifestyle as well, you’re still vegan.

I mean, there's information everywhere and you can look around and realise how we are destroying everything around us because of how we are living, consuming and producing. Going vegan is not only a protest against the power that is not making the changes we want, but going vegan is also an act of kindness towards the natural world, the whole planet and towards our health and well being. I can't understand why one wouldn't want to inform himself about what is going on and to take action against the collapse of all species. ENOUGH to live for a short term fleeting reality that is only corrupting us with small and false promises of "wealth", WE DESERVE SO MUCH MORE in terms of an economic model that is not based on the corruption of our minds and on seeing us as merely consumers that have to buy, eat, consume and buy again. I am out of this and I know life is much more than this and that I can start change by being vegan, buying less and being aware that the whole planet wants to live as much as I want.

That eating animals is unnecessary, and cholesterol only comes from eating animals, which is a correlation for heart disease, amongst other things like diabetes, some cancers, etc. That eating meat is harming our planet, as we clear forests to feed cattle, which feeds people, but if we just grew plants for people we could feed the world. Eating meat wastes more water than a plant based diet. That the animals do not want to die, and they do actually feel pain, and that since we don't need to eat animals to live, we should let animals enjoy their life on earth rather than torturing and murdering them. There's way more facts, these are just a handful :)

Then remember this, it's the animals that never did the earth any harm. Man is destroying it millions of hectares at a time every year growing cotton, wheat, corn, maize, rice and sugar. Not to mention all the water that has to be used to grow this stuff. The fashion industry. You couldn't imagine the amount of water it takes just to make a t-shirt. But a cow, eats grass, not damage is done to the soil and not a lot of water is used. After all, the water goes back onto the land and so does the firtilizer.

@Sophie 3,000Its not just a dinner it is my complete health and wellness. Veganism nearly killed me. Along with thousands of others. I'm not giving my life for an animal who was created to be my food. You are the ones with a completely skewed view of the world. You aren't saving lives. You are picking and choosing what lives are more important to you. What about the millions of acres of natural wildlife and small animals milled by mono crops. Birds deer rodents. Entire ecosystems destroyed by glyphosate your not just killing those animals but your killing the land. The same companies who created factory farming fund and push veganism cuz they are Big Agg. They just want to own all the land and control the food supply. Cow farts dont do anything to the atmosphere. Grassfed cows create a negative deficit infact. They just use your mental weakness and pull at your heart strings to make you eat a completely man made unnatural deficient diet. You will eventually fail like the other 85 percent who always do. The most hardocre vegans are eventually brought to there knees because the health issues just continue to progress as time goes on. A vegan diet detoxes tlyour body in the beginning which shows some obvious improvement from a standard American processed shit diet but you will eventually lose up your stores of over 10 vitamins and minerals only found in easily digested animal foods and be forced to admit you were wrong. Either that or suffer till you die at a much younger age from the same exact health problems as normal people. Because its plant oils which are the real killers. And refined sugars. Do good luck with all your GMO glyphosate ridden plant kibble that was created to feed the poor and slaves. Vegavs are exactly that. Slaves manipulated by propaganda which plays on your emotions and blocks you from seeing any actual truth that is plain to see. I was there so I no it all to well. You have no idea what your supporting. If you did you would realize how foolish you look to those who allow themselves to see the propaganda and who is pushing this movement. Monsanto, Tyson foods the biggest factory farming company in the world, the World Bank,the Gates foundation which is beyond evil and is helping to implement population control. You just dont no at all what your really supporting. You think its what you want it to be but infact it's just a large deception you have fallen victim to. Mind control has been in existence for decades. And they no exactly what it takes to get something off the ground. They purposely attract caring people ano want to make positive changes but in fact they are using you to benefit there own agenda which has nothing to so with saving animals or improving health. Infact tjize very same people cause more damage to this planet then all the people combined yetbrgwy convince us its us and the cows and not the shipping and production of all the unnatural shit everyone is so dependent on. I could go on for days and I could refute any single argument you come up with because when something destroys your life the way the vegan movement does you are forced to accept the truth and spread it anyway possible. You will not listen because you are already so deeply decieved that admitting you are wrong is just something you arebt ready to do. Because your always gonna fall back on the animals life when really that's such a tiny part of the while thing it's almost meaningless. You are unnatural. You think because we are separating ourselves so much from the natural world that it all makes sense to move on to not needing meat but that is a fallacy because we are carnivores and to live a highly functioning optimally healthy life we absolutely need meat. Big pharma and they thought and paid for science studies about cholesterol have fooled you all. There us absolutely no correlation between cholesterol and heart disease and that us proven by so many real scientists that it is almost laughable that the main stream still pretends it's real so they can go on making millions of staten drugs that are giving people cancer and taking years off the victims lives. They remove the people with the highest cholesterol from these studies cuz it actually will show that people with higher cholesterol tend to live longer lives. Obe of the most famous long time vegans just died of a heart attack not to long ago. Yet he said his diet was heart attack proof. Oops !. I dont want to sound rude to hateful it's just so exhausting trying to wake up all the nutrient deficient mentally unstable vegans that go around parroting the same ridiculous claims and excuses for there entirely rediculous agenda they have been spoon fed. Wakeup sheep your being led to your own hunan factory farm slaughter house right now. There called fema camps. And the weak the homeless and the mentally I'll will be the first ones to go there and you will strongly qualify fur atleast 2 of those 3 categories. Lol

@Rosemary Terra Animals have looked after the planet, the soil on this earth for millions of years. Now machines and chemicals are destroying the soil and it's turning to dust. Take a look at the wheat, corn and seed fields where there are oceans of them and you cant see a tree for miles. You can't see the horizon. As soon as the wind blows and the rains start with all those weedkillers and other chemicals on the dust it just ends up in the oceans because the animals are boxed up and don't get to even see the soil they used to generate. The life that used to feed the soil is no longer there.

I went vegetarian in 2006 and vegan in 2010. If someone had told me then that veganism would be taking over just 9 years later, I would've thought they were living in a fantasy land. But it's actually happening; veganism is rising. Maybe there's still hope for the animals and the planet.

@keto cycler Please do some research into veganism. On average, just eating a plant-based diet (this does not including the rest of vegan living) you save 1100 gallons of water, 40 pounds of grain, and at least 1 animal life each day. Instead of fighting the progress of compassionate living, maybe try it out for yourself.

@keto cycler That is an appeal to nature. The lion's scenerio and ours are far different. First of all, a lion has to hunt and kill for survival, they have no other option for food, but us? We drive to a supermakert and are given an abundant of food options to chose from : we can choose to eat more plant based if we wanted to, it is easily assessible for majority of us. Plus, plant foods are cheaper . Second, a lion isn't causing massive environmental distruction by eating meat , whereas we are. And lastly, a lion is a carnivorous animal and lacks moral agency so it can't really empathize and does not have a moral obligation to since it is literally their natural diet to eat meat . But us? We are much more dominant and intelligent so we can understand then impact of our choices far better than a lion and we should . i mean , we can empathize with those we hurt due to moral agency, ( which we have and lions don't) We are more health eating plant based foods based on what i've seen .so its unfair to compare us to lions. Don't you think?

@@arianator2119 opinions are like arseholes everyone has one. Moral obligation bla bla bla. Hypocrisy comes to mind. So tell me what do you feed your dog? What sort of fuel do you put in your car? How is your home heated? What about electricity production. I could write five books about unethical behavior! Have you any idea how damaging vegetable farming is for this planet?
