Ackee and Salt Fish is a delightful Jamaican dish that I have come to appreciate even more as an adult. Being a vegan, I never thought I could recreate this classic pairing with such accuracy, but substituting salted cod with hearts of palm has proven to be an excellent alternative.
As Jamaica's national dish, Ackee and Salt Fish is a versatile delicacy that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. As an all-time favorite of mine, I relish every opportunity to savor this dish's flavorsome combination of ackee and salt fish.
