As someone who is not Vegan but has Vegan in laws, the only vegan cheese that actually tasted very similar to dairy cheese was CHAO, I've tried all others mentioned in this video. The only other cheese I would recommend is the follow your heart provolone, all smoked vegan cheeses are overwhelming.

I was never big on smoked cheeses--dairy or not. Cheese was always perf to me without smoking it. o3o Chao is one of the more high end cheeses :3 violife is pretty good too, depending on which one you try

I don't know: I remember the rare times I had cheap white bread and Kraft--aptly named--singles, or, worse, government cheeze, and all but the worst vegan cheeses beat those, IMO. I just made the follow your heart smoked Gouda on sourdough with plant butter. When I tell you it was so creamy and delicious OMG I would certainly recommend this to anyone!! these are amazing i love vegan grilled cheese with the right cheese cant tell a difference...the only thing is these company really have to add some protein even if its just one gram of protein they really should do that.,.... im sure one gram wouldnt alter the taste or make it chalky and if you have 3 slices thats 3 grams of protein at least which is better than 0.

FYI Butter is so passe when making grilled cheese. Mayo is the replacement for butter it makes the grilled cheese crusty and flavorful. Try it out, you will never use butter again.

butter isn't is not, but you can see in the video that we are using Earth Balance butter which is a vegan butter. No dairy is used. Hope this helps

I actually hate that “cheese pull” is a thing.. vegan or not, I don’t want to be chewing on stringy cheese 🤮 I’m not a fan of vegan cheese in the least flavor wise, but I love the fact when melted there’s no “cheese pull”. Why the hell is that a staple for good cheese? I’ve actually thrown up from cheese that pulls like that so I’m positive there’s others out there looking for the cheese that has zero pull. Love vegan cheese for this but they gotta get their flavor together. Cold texture too. Sorry for the unpopular opinion but I’ll never eat any cheese that has a cheese pull to it, no thanks, hard pass
