LEARN HOW TO MAKE VEGAN PEANUT SATAY RAMEN IN THIS EASY RECIPE!
LAY HO MA!! I love ramen, you love ramen, everyone loves ramen!! In this episode, I will show you how to make an easy vegan ramen with the lovely flavour a peanut satay broth. Some clarification - satay is traditionally meat grilled on skewers and covered with peanut sauce. The peanut sauce is sometimes referred to as satay sauce. Join me in this episode and let's make some vegan ramen!
Ingredients:
2 pieces garlic
1 small piece ginger
drizzle of olive oil
handful of shimeji mushrooms
1 cup extra firm tofu
2 tbsp peanut butter
2 cups vegetable stock ( • Best Vegan Broth Recip... )
1 portion ramen noodles ( • Ramen Noodles from scr... )
1 tbsp cane sugar
1 tsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp roasted peanuts
1 stick green onion
few sprigs cilantro
2 tbsp chili oil ( • Most addictive Red Chi... )
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Finely chop the garlic and ginger
2. Heat up a medium stock pot on medium high heat. Drizzle some olive oil
3. Add the ginger, garlic, and mushrooms
4. Boil some water for the noodles in a separate saucepan
5. Crumble 1 cup worth of extra firm tofu, then add to the stock pot. sauté for 5-7min
6. Add the peanut butter followed by the vegetable stock. Stir and deglaze the pan
7. Cook the noodles as per package instructions. Use chopsticks to loosen the noodles occasionally
8. When the broth comes to a boil, simmer on medium for 5min
9. In the serving bowl, add the cane sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Whisk to combine
10. Pour the broth into the serving bowl
11. When the noodles are cooked, strain out the water. Place them in the serving bowl
12. Top the ramen with crushed roasted peanuts, fresh chopped green onion, cilantro, chili oil, and white sesame seeds

the best cooking videos are 8 minutes and under. Definitely like this guy's style of instruction. Dude doesn't stand in front of a cabinet and talk for 20 minutes before cooking, nor does he use 12 different camera angles. Just straight to the point, get the beautiful food prepared and presented kind of flow...big ups.

i question your ability to spot the camera angles. chopping garlic took 3. Putting a pot on the stove, lighting it, and adding olive oil also had an angle for each punctuation in this sentence. 😂🤣

Of course one someone chooses a recipe, they are doing so because they think it will be good..but thus truly exceeded my expectations! Who cares that ramen restaurants won’t serve vegan ramen? I can make it myself, save money, keep it healthier, and enjoy the mindful cooking experience. It’s been six months since my husband died and it’s been rough, but I was actually smiling making the pi’s and listening to some jazz...and then eating it..and looking forward to the leftovers. My only sub was shiitake mushrooms since that’s all I could get. Thanks, Will. You are enhancing peoples palates as well as their lives...one bowl of ramen at a time!

How's possible I've never discovered your channel until now? I've been consuming vegan recipes content on KZbin for over 3 years now and whenever I've tried to search for vegan Asian recipes your channel would never be an option. I wonder why? I literally follow every vegan that there's on KZbin. Your channel is AMAZING!! I can't believe is all vegan, wow. Really excited to try your recipes.

@neginf.7639
@neginf.7639 4 жыл бұрын
Let me help you: The great thing about vegan "meat" is that it is just made out of vegetables. It's created to resemble the flavors and looks of non-vegan meat, but it is as close to vegetables as you can literally get, because it is made out of vegetables. So don't be fooled and let the look of vegan "meat" (made from vegetables) scare you. The look of real meat, which is made out of poor slaughtered animals, is what you should be scared of, to the Core. 🙏🏼
@ThoriumHeavyIndustries
@ThoriumHeavyIndustries 4 жыл бұрын
@@neginf.7639 In the stores here you can find highly processed and spiced "vegan meat" - for 3-5x the price of meat containing fat, sugar, 10 artifical aromas and it comes in a plastic box. The Tofu you can buy here is ""extreme firm" with the consistency of feta and the taste of paper - also in a plastic box (actually in 2 plastic boxes). The next asia store is a drive of 2x40km. I buy chicken by the local butcher store in business since 1822 wrapped in paper. Not from a soya-mono-farm in central asia processed by nestle.
@ThoriumHeavyIndustries

@Willow Hernandez yes, every meat - beside white fish - has a distinct taste. Many people eating heavily processed food for their entire life can´t taste that anymore, but those can´t taste fruits and vegetables. Stop eating garbage spiced up with flavour enhancers and you have the chance that some of your senses come back. I am here for a ramen dish containing peanuts. Why are you here? Looks like you have a very poor and boring live.
