love this recipe! Sunflowers seed are easier and less expensive to find then most other nuts used in these types of vide. they grow in Canada without a shit ton of water so they're more eco-friendly i guess. I also love that it also doesn't use agar-agar or something like that cause i can't find that here!

The recipes with starch and/or agar always have a weird texture to me. Will try this one.

I use 2 Tbs of sunflower seeds every day to make a dressing. It's really nice. It tastes like yoghurt: 2 Tbs sunflower seeds (ground), 1 Tbs apple cider vinegar, 1-2 Tbs lemon juice (taste it before adding more), 2 Tbs of water and 1/2 tsp salt.

Hi Sam! I’ve taken the ultimate step and have gone raw vegan. I had been raw vegan years ago and started eating vegetarian after a trip to Viet Nam. Instead of cooking the sunflower seeds do you know of any reason that I can’t just soak the seeds overnight? Love your vids and recipes. Now to see which are raw or can be converted. Please stay healthy! We need your smile!

Hi Sam! I have a question that you may or may not have the answer to but do you know how much one wheel of vegan cheese weighs? Strange question, I know, but I do a weight loss plan that requires a serving size and if I know ounces, grams, kilograms, etc. I can do a calculation. No worries if this information isn't available.
