I watched this episode this past Saturday. Didn’t know that corn silk was being passed off as Saffron. Always learn something on this show. Hated when he left ATK, but glad he has this show now. One door closes, another opens. Love English cucumbers 🥒

English cucumbers are the best. Lacey from ATK is #1 💋

I recently watched an episode when Mr. K showed boiled vegetables and how to mince ginger and a past episode about cutting vegetables I like the way he teaches these things instead of just showing recipes. Thank you

I'm beginning to love this show (e.g. cooking techniques from other countries). I also noticed that the chefs are scraping as much ingredients off the bowls (scraping using a spatula). They also explain things so well. I first noticed Josh Mamaclay (hiIs voice and use of words). Then I noticed Bianca Borges. She speaks with credibility. Then, Rayna Jhaveri. Then Erika Bruce (very calm). Matthew Card (his rapport with Chris, found out they used to work together). Lynn Clark. Catherine Smart. The show also features experts like the chef in Mexico who is considered the expert in cooking beans! This is the missing component at ATK. I still watch ATK.

I actually found this channel bc I was curious after reading a comment on atk that had a very polarizing take on the evolution of atk. They did not have a positive view of milk street. I have no clue why, because I'm now binging the show and it's fantastic. I still like atk but they are different animals; I wouldn't compare them. I really love this for the international aspect of it. Bringing home cooking from other countries and translating it and explaining the techniques. It's travel and cooking and process, and very relaxing with the music. It just feels like everyone's sharing and has a different tone to a lot of other cooking programmes that just seem to focus on being loud and gimmicky.

The water in the salad is the best part. Purified water. I save it to use when I need a little salty water for something.

That’s not real jewel rice, never had it with carrots.
